Rain pulled Percy into her mind to show him where his parents were located. We were all watching them as they sat there, eyes closed and concentrated. I knew I had a piece of each of their shadows, but I didn't realize that meant that I could use them myself. "When you called on them, they melded with your shadow, giving it some of our abilities.
