A week went by and Vincent had the surgery and was well on his way to healing. Him and Rebecca had also continued with their deal. Rebecca spent every night in Vincent’s bed. Vincent woke up the next day with Rebecca curled up in his arms with her face buried in his chest. He sighed and ran his finger through her hair. He would be content to just spend the day like this with her but he knew he had to get up.
