Hi Goodnovel readers out there! I hope you have enjoyed reading "Who's The Loser Now?". I also hope you enjoyed the free teaser of Charles Smith being released from prison and meeting Peter Quinton. To be honest, I thought of continuing the current book and just add more chapters into it; but I wanted this story to be about the main character Derek Quinton. I felt that if I added chapters into it, the focus would shift from Derek Quinton to Charles Smith, and then maybe another character in this book, thus dragging the novel too long. Also, I want as many characters in this book as possible to have their own spin-offs/stories. So with that, I decided to end "Who's The Loser Now?" the way it did. I'm inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the way Marvel films does their movies, hence the teaser. I'll be starting to work on the next book, centered around the character Charles Smith. Prologue “Son, there’s something I have yet to reveal to anyone. You are the first to know.” Peter Quinton said to Derek as they both walked to a private room in the Townsville Casino. “Dad, I’ve never been to the Townsville Casino before. What are we doing here?” asked Peter’s son, Derek Quinton, the heir to the Quinton Consortium. “You’ll find out soon enough, Young Master.” replied Hector, the driver for the Quinton Family. “Huh; and you said no one knows, dad.” Derek joked as they approached the private room. Upon opening the door, Hector ushered both father and son into the private room, which looked more like an office. Charles sat up straight in his seat, eyes bulging wide, mouth gaped open. Understandably, he had a hard time believing what Peter Quinton just asked of him. "Me? Charles Smith? The Don of Townsville? Beep! Beep! Beep!The alarm was blaring all around Charles's room in his new cabin. Charles slowly opened his eyes, sat up and gave himself a good stretch. Sitting on his bed, he took a few moments to gather his thoughts, in particular, a reality that he accepted just the night before. As of the night before, the old Charles Smith is gone. Accepting this new reality, Charles got up from bed and took a cold shower, waking up his senses in his body.After his shower, Charles headed to his wardrobe to see what clothes were available in it."Hmmmm...there's a good mix of clothes here."
