Amelie POV I had been coming closer to being conscious over what I feel like is a couple days. I have floated in and out and heard various conversations around me. None were from my mate again. Amelie POVI groan as I try to move my body. Everything aches. My arms and shoulders hurt. Why do they hurt? Where am I? I cannot open my eyes. Suddenly I feel a splash of cold water on my face which startles me forcing me to open my eyes. Everything comes rushing back as I squint my eyes looking at my surroundings. I had left my Pack, been attacked by rogues, captured by my second chance mate, and escaped death only to end up here for Goddess knows what to happen.I blink a few more times to try and focus. As I focus, I see a man sitting on a chair across from me. He is human. What the hell does a human want with wolves?
