A Friday The 13th Bride のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 9

The large bedroom was filled with a rosy scent that emanated from the dozens of rose petals that covered the floor. Expensive furniture covered the spacious room, intricate art sat on the walls. One that stood out from the rest was a huge painting of a man and a woman. At first glance, it was easy to stare, for both their looks were equally breathtaking. The woman that sat on the settee had smooth, pale skin and wore emerald jewellery that sat contrasting her pale, fair complexion beautifully so. She was wrapped up in a stunning ball gown of red that fell off her shoulders, allowing the right amount of her breasts over it’s bodice. The dress tapered inwards at the small of her waist, before falling down around her hips. Her face was most striking, with soft features and a delicately small mouth that had a naturally rosy colour. Her eyes, sharp and the colour of her jewellery, had an underlying intelligence to them. A calmness that made her graceful and regal, especially with her soft

The sun was setting and the little light that had been seeping through the heavy looking velvety curtains that fell down the large windows, was slowly fading. The entire room looked like it belonged in the Victorian era. Every intricate design and embroidery. Either the owner had a rather strong interest in the fashions of the past or this was just an abandoned building. An abandoned building wouldn't be this spotless though. Now that she really paid attention, the room was rather odd, for lack of a better word. It was a spacious room that basically had nothing in it. Except for the curtains which were embroidered with silky cloths that ran down the edges, the twinkling chandelier and the wretched pole, around which her hands were cuffed, which stood right in centre of the room. However even though the room was empty, she could see the expensiveness in the room and of the room. Another detail which served to worry her even more. What if they all were trespassing and she got in trou

"Your majesty, if I may?" Ryka spoke diplomatically, bowing his head to show his reverence. "I don't think it wise for you to play right into the humans' hands. They might not be wise, but their intentions are unscrupulous."Ryka, the vampire warrior raised his head, revealing a pair of emerald eyes that looked utterly misplaced on his hardened face. He had shoulder-length hair and was big-framed, a man that was always out for blood, pun unintended. He was considered a beast by many due to his big size, his straight mouth which rarely ever stretched to form a smile and his hawk-like gaze that never missed much. The Vampire King, Carlisle, was a being that could not easily be understood. At six feet plus two inches, he towered over a lot of vampires and people alike. The composition of his face was designed for raw sin. He was almost ethereal, his looks gaining him much attention wherever he went. He walked with a confidence and a grace that clearly originated from the depths of his

Carlisle walked down the stairs with his eyes closed, his fingers trailing the gold encased rails with every step he took. He didn’t exactly need his excellent vision to guide him through the mansion. He knew it like the back of his palm. It had been his home for the longest time. The word home felt like a bucket of ice had been deposited over him, causing him to pull his long fingers off the rails. He couldn’t possibly imagine or think of this place as home now. Not when the woman he had wanted to spend the rest of his life with had breathed her last inside one of its very rooms. He placed his hand over his heart, finding it beating so very slightly; a constant reminder of the creature that he had become. He buried his dark thoughts on the back of his mind as he opened his eyes and focused on the matter at hand. Someone was in the house. In all the times that he ventured on his 13th year excursion, he came unaccompanied. He cherished the freedom that came along with having no prot

Something was not quite right. Very few things could hold his interest anymore, having lived so long on earth. He had seen the world constantly change and mostly for the better if he said so. He would forever despise the dark days when slavery had seized the world with it’s prickly hand. The unfairness and savagery of races against each other had been heartbreaking to see. Unexplainable and utterly disgusting. And his people were not completely innocent parties either. They had also like the human white supremacists taken advantage of the imbalance and rampaged the earth, uncontrollable in all their power and greed for blood. Feeding had been done mostly to gain vampires and human feeders had no say over the entire ordeal. It went without saying that humans had suffered under the governance of their own selfish leaders as well as his own kind. Which was why he was such a big advocate for peace and was still working to bring more numbers of his kind into shouldering his cause. With v
