It was difficult for Amelia to leave Blake’s cabin. His scent had her all heady and she could barely speak to him she was so taken aback by his scent. She knew that she was in trouble as soon as she started thinking of Blake as her partner instead of her Alpha. “Mother Moon, I’ve just buried my intended mate and now I’m having these feelings about Blake. That is wrong on so many levels. I should be grieving, not falling for another man so quickly. What is going on? What am I doing?”Amelia berated herself all the way to her cabin, but she was still unable to get Blake out of her mind. He was a very sexy man with midnight-black eyes and pitch-black hair. He was so opposite to Jax in so many ways, yet so familiar at the same time.Amelia took a deep breath and cleared her mind of any thoughts of Blake. He was off limits and so was she. She needed space to mourn Jax.She eventually arrived at her cabin, after taking the long way around, and her mother already had the kettle on for some h

Connor walked around the compound watching his men practice when Melody sauntered up to him.“Hi, Connor,” she greeted seductively as she put her hand on his arm, “checking up on the boys?”Connor loved the attention from women but not when it came from Melody.Melody was Christian’s mate and even though he was an ass, Connor would never cross that boundary.Unbeknownst to Melody, Christian had witnessed it all, even the way she’d placed her hand on Connor’s arm as she spoke with him, massaging his bicep ever so slightly. It really hurt Christian when he witnessed Melody flirting with Connor. It made her look ‘cheap’ and that is the last thing he wanted for his mate.Melody was a beautiful woman and used it to her advantage. Flirting with most of the men to get her way.“What does it look like?” asked Connor sarcastically. He didn’t care that he was being rude to Melody. He was her Alpha and as such she should know her place. He pulled away from her and walked off, not giving her a se

Amelia sat at her office desk, deep in thought about Jax and how much she missed him. Tears burnt the back of her eyes but she refused to set them free. She had made herself a promise to stay focused and calm at the office. No crying allowed. She needed to be brave. She was busy translating a memo for Blake when he called her into his office. She put down the piece of paper he had written on, picked up her notebook and pen, and made her way into his office.“I need you to attend a luncheon with me today,” said Blake and Amelia found it rather odd. She had never had lunch with Blake before, why would he all of a sudden invite her to one? “I need you to take minutes as it is a work luncheon and I don’t want to spend the meeting making notes myself or forgetting something that was mentioned.” Blake was standing by the vast window while he spoke to her. What a perfect picture thought Amelia and then immediately wiped it from her mind.“Yes, but of course,” answered Amelia, “I am ready to

Amelia rose early to get to work before Blake. There was some admin that she wanted to get done before her work day started. She was still filing when she smelt him. Oh, my goodness, this man is going to drive me crazy, she thought to herself.“Good morning, Amelia,” greeted Blake as he stopped at her desk. “You’re in early today, I’m usually the early bird.”“There were a few things I wanted to get done before work, so I came in a bit earlier than usual,” she had such a wide smile on her face that her cheeks actually hurt.Oh, my word, this woman is so beautiful! Thought Blake to himself as he stood there and looked at Amelia’s angelic face, his heart beat faster than it had a few seconds ago.“Is there anything that I can do for you this morning?” asked Amelia trying to break the awkward silence between them as they both just stood there staring at one another.“Oh, no thanks, not just now, maybe a bit later,” Blake unlocked his office and left the door open, which he seldom did.An

“Hello, Connor,” greeted Stephanie as she ever so slowly entered his cabin, rubbing herself against him on purpose as she passed him by. She smelt his pheromones heighten and knew that she would have her way that evening. He didn’t stand a chance against her and her deviousness.“You look dead sexy,” said Connor as he eyed her from head to toe and then back up again.“Thank you, I know,” answered Stephanie in the most sultry voice she could muster.“Join me at the table,” said Connor as he made a sweeping movement with his hand and she walked over to the table.Connor joined her after closing the cabin door and trying to pull himself together. He pulled out her chair for her and while standing behind her could see that her dress was backless and along with the smell of her Lavender scent it drove him wild.He gently stroked his fingers over her back as he made his way around to his side of the table. He in turn had given her gooseflesh and it was evident by her peaking breasts. Conno
