THE BROTHERS WHO WANT ME의 모든 챕터: 챕터 11 - 챕터 20

DIEGOMy mind wasn’t fully sure about what had just happened as I struggled to keep my head as low as possible in the backseat with the glass shards that were raining all around me as the bullets went through the back glass. Finally we turned a corner and the bullets stopped flying past us. I looked at my fingers which were still tightly wrapped round the gun and it was visibly shaken, it was a surprise I hadn’t dropped it as I jumped into the car. Just like a switch my mind alerted me that I was in a car, an unknown car, who could have possibly risked their lives to save mine in such a moment as that.“Are you okay back there?” I heard a male voice come from the driver's seat. “I hope there’s nothing hurt. None of those bullets went through you right?” I aimed the gun directly at the seat in front of me as I got up to a sitting position so I could see who was talking to me. The face I saw through the windscree

IRENEAs I pushed my way into the house trying desperately not to make any noise I couldn’t help but think about the fact that this was how every horror movie went, a suspicious situation that had no business being investigated and then poof just like that, dead. With every step I took my trembling got worse.I remembered I kept two bats in the house, one directly by my bed just in the unlikely event an intruder broke in when I slept in the night I’d at least see something I could use to defend myself with and one just a few steps away from the door. Now that I was in the house I could see it resting on the wall right there in plain sight and I made my way towards it, picking it up and proceeding to the sitting room area where sounds were coming from. The house was structured in such a way that I couldn’t see the sitting room immediately I entered the hall and had to make a turn to the left before I could see anything. As I got closer I coul

IRENEI slowly came to as I heard voices murmuring in the distance. I was completely wrapped in the room's darkness, and for a brief moment I was unsure of where I was. The ringing at the back of my head felt unbearable and I was struggling to remember exactly what had happened. It all felt like a blur to me but one thing that I was sure of was I had been hit at the back of my head and then I went down. Slowly the memories began to come back to me as my mind began to clear, crashing like a tsunami into my consciousness. In that moment my heart I could feel my body become twice its normal weight and it felt like I was being weighed down by the burden I had felt barely some minutes before I woke up.It dawned on me, a ruthless knowledge that pierced my heart like a blade. I could recall. My good friend's life had been cut short in that residence, and I had seen her lifeless body. Hers and that of her man. Oh dear God, who could have done this to us? Th

DIEGOI felt the pain before I heard the sound of the gunshot. I knew what had happened but for a brief moment I was in denial. As i looked down to my stomach i kept on thinking to myself There was definitely no way Irene had shot me.Looking down I saw the blood stain gradually begin to grow on my blue shirt exactly where there was a new hole.In that moment my world was blurred with pain as the blood flowed from my stomach, staining my clothes and pooling beneath me. Each breath became a struggle, and it was a fight to maintain consciousness. His vision danced with darkness, the edges of my perception fading into an abyss.I could hear myself utter the words “fuck” as my knees buckled and i fell on them to the ground. The gun slipped out of Irene’s hands as she stood rooted to the spot for a brief moment in shock, looking at her I knew she had not meant to shoot me. I allowed myself to smile at her to at least provide a littl

Nick had just gotten out of the apartment when he realized he had forgotten his coat but then again he knew if he went back up there he might be interrupting something so he decided to brave it and just keep on walking, the cold was not that much anyway it was already close to summer. He stopped by the coffee shop down the street to at least grab a hot beverage to keep himself moderately warm inside.
