Dylan POV“So? How was your time away?” Richard asks as I walk into his office with my hands in my pockets. I nod slightly and sit in front of him, crossing my legs. Richard is in a steady relationship with Layla. He is the only one that can give me advice about my love life, but I don’t even know how to tell him what I have been doing. “It was good,” I say, and he nods, focusing again on his laptop. He raises his eyes from time to time to focus on me. I am biting my nails like I used to when we were kids and I would do something that I knew I would get in trouble for. “Okay, what the fuck is wrong with you?” Richard asks and I take a deep breath, resting both my hands on my leg. “My life is a shit show,” I finally say, and Richard closes his laptop and rest

Jo POVI wheel my bag through the airport. After passing airport security, I sit at the bar looking at the drinks menu. I think I need some liquid courage. I need something to make me relax. I have no clue what I am doing right now. I have nowhere to stay. Our house is gone, back to its owner, and all of my belongings are in storage. “Can I please have a martini?” I ask the bartender, that smiles and nods. He walks around the bar prepping my order and when he places the drink in front of me, I drain the glass in one go. He looks at me, raising an eyebrow and I smile, pointing at the glass while I shove the olive in my mouth. “Another one please,” I say, and he nods. When the second one is placed in front of me. I smile and give him the money for the two drinks, plus a tip. My phone is ringing and I look at the name. Layla. My heart beats fast

Jo POVDylan looks at me with the craziest smirk on his face, his eyes are locked on mine while he pulls the zipper of his pants up and I do the button of my jeans. I pass my hands through my hair and he smiles as he pulls me into his arms and kisses me deeply again. I close my eyes, allowing myself to melt against his strong arms. “Spend the night with me,” he asks as he kisses my neck. My eyes roll back and I arch my back, giving him better access as his hands keep me in place, pressed against his raging erection that decided to appear again. “I can’t. I am having dinner with Layla. Besides, I am staying in a hostel,” I say and he scrunches his nose. “Hostel? No, I will be booking you a hotel. I don’t want you sharing a room with random people. It’s dangerous,&r

Jo POVI look around the room and smile. This is the first time I am going to live alone. I never imagined I would be able to, but after everything I have been through I think it is the best decision I ever made. It’s only a small studio apartment, where the kitchen, living room and bedroom are all in the same space. The only doors I have here are the front door, the closet and the bathroom. I touch the big plant on the corner of the room near the window. I love plants and I am hoping I won’t kill it this time. I love them, but I always manage to get them killed. I sit on the couch resting my feet on the coffee table and turn the TV on. I only have to start working later. I grab my phone when it starts ringing, and I put it back down when I see the caller. Dylan. He has been calling me three times a day, and I have been ignoring him. The amount of unread

Dylan POV“I really miss you,” I whisper in a last attempt to get her back. To get her to be mine. With that, she pulls away, one hand on her chest, and one on mine as I try to get closer to her. She shakes her head and I see it in her eyes. It’s over. “No,” she says before she presses the button and I grab my jacket from the floor. She crosses her arms in front of her, blocking any attempt of contact I might try. When the door opens, not the ground floor, all eyes are on us. Jo walks out of the elevator and grabs Layla by the arm, and pulls her away from us. “You took your time,” Richard says smacking his hand on my shoulder. Fred looks at me confused, and then when he looks at Jo talking to Layla, it clicks. “Oh My God, you and number one? Seriously? What about
