Lahat ng Kabanata ng Cursed by the Moon Goddess.: Kabanata 51 - Kabanata 60

Damon's POV Good, I thought, seizing on anything to distract me from how white and unmoving Zirah currently was, a couple of doors away from me. Helen on the other hand, was a welcome distraction. I didn't need to go search her out, she willingly brought herself here.I hastened my footsteps, sliding my hand down the cold railing as I took two steps down the stairs, catching her from the corner of my eye hurrying towards me. As my feet touched the landing step, I set my eyes on her, looking as immaculate as always. She was wearing all black which raised my eyebrows as it was the perfect outfit for midnight stalk and her hair was scraped into a ponytail, no strand out of place, and her lipstick perfectly painted on her lips. Her put-together appearance sparked anger, causing rage to simmer in my veins. "Damon-" she opens her mouth to speak as she walks towards me but I cut the distance between us by meeting her halfway. Before she could even finish her sentence, I flung out my hand

Demon's POV And Helen that bitch, had a dagger aimed above Zirah's heart about to plunge it down. There was a lot we shifters can heal from. Decapitation and a dead heart were not one of them. I rushed into her with the force of a freight train knocking into her causing her to lose her balance and topple to the floor taking me her. The dagger was still in her grip and up close I recognized it as part of their family heirlooms, passed down from shifter to shifter. Her father must have given it to her. She clutched it tightly, not willing to let it go but I hit her hand repeatedly on the floor loosening her grip a bit for it to tumble several metres away. I was lying down on top of her, my weight practically pinning her down and I made to shift back but I was too late. She raised her right knee and plunged it into my neither regions causing pain to bloom behind my eyelids and in instinctive reaction, I let her go of her hands to clutch my ball sack. "Not feeling so powerful now, eh?"

Zirah's POV Blinking my eyes open in a strange room, I feel so disoriented and loopy. I turned my body so that my legs could touch the cold floor. The shock of the coldness of the floor meeting my warm skin jolted me to be more awake. I was donned in a weird-looking hospital gown which gaped at the back and I turned my hand to hold it together in place, as I padded to the washroom. I turned on the tap, the cold water blinking me awake as I splashed it with my trembling hands on my face and I looked up at the mirror. The image I saw in the mirror made me wince. My hair was flat against my scalp and my skin looked pasty white with chaps across my lips. All in all, I looked like an absolute mess.I hoped Damon didn't see me like this. I glanced down at the floor as I bent down, a sharp pain pierced my side causing me to whimper out loud. Why am I hurting?XI released the hold I had on the gown, loosening the fit on my body as I turned my side to the mirror to check out what was caus

The home of Peytr RamseyRamsey's POV I stirred the metal spoon into my cup, blowing gently in my coffee as I waited patiently for it to simmer down a bit.The door opened to usher in the maid bringing in my mood but I motioned for her to take it back, I didn't have much of an appetite anyways. Before she left though, I stopped her with a single gesture."Is Helen back yet?""No, sir." She curtsied and I sent her on her merry way. I worried my lower lip between my teeth, wondering why she wasn't back yet.I spied her leaving the house late yesterday, dressed up. I thought she was going to meet Damon but I might have been wrong.Their relationship was a very weird one, but she looked excited when they finally performed the mating ceremony.I had heard from the grapevine though, that that lady he was frolicking with earlier, he brought her back into the city secretly.I didn't really care about his activities as far as he doesn't hurt my princess.Helen on the other hand, may have a d

Zirah's POV"You need to eat," Erica tells me, pushing the food to my side but I just turn away, hugging the pillow to my chest. It was a dreadful sight to behold honestly, my hair hung down my shoulders in limp ringlets and my clothes were the same ones I wore throughout yesterday. My face was pale with several sleep bags under my eyes.I've been locked in here for over a week, with food and water brought to me three times a day.I was fully healed from all the resting I'd been forced to do since I couldn't go anywhere.I could forgive Damon for his barbaric attitude if he didn't keep me away from my children.I almost ran mad because I was always obsessing if they were fine or even alive. The only grace I got to alleviate my worry was when one of the maids brought them to see me for just three hours and then took them back, despite my pleading, kicking, and screaming. And I haven't seen them since then.Just once, in twelve days.He could do anything to me and I would probably forgi
