บททั้งหมดของ The Lycan King’s Wanted Mate: บทที่ 141 - บทที่ 150

Aurelia's POVNorton avoided me the whole day. He didn't barge into my room like I had expected him to and even when the maids came to serve me dinner, they would freeze and dash out in fear after throwing all the food on the floor. They finally left the food by the door and I had to pick it up myself and clean the room too.As I ate, I tried to make sense of it while rubbing my belly. I healed too fast and I released enough scent to make an Alpha cower in fear. Was this the perks of carrying a Lycan child? Did this mean that my baby was full Lycan? Liam would be so pleased to hear-"Oh," the feeling of disappointment washed over me for a moment there before I picked myself up, wondering why I felt that way. It shouldn't be any of my concern yet why did I feel a strange kind of bliss happening from inside me as if my wolf was in the presence of her mate.Speaking of wolf, I reached for the glass of water and after gulping it down, I tried to connect to her. It was still distant but I

Aurelia's POV"Y-You've b-been awake this whole time?" I stuttered, gulping down my nervousness but failing. Hearing his voice again was springing up memories. It was much better just watching him sleep there without being noticed. How did I miss that he had been aware of my presence ever since? Was it his beast? Did it also rejoice at the presence of my wolf? But he would've needed to see me first or did I release a scent without knowing and he caught on from there? His shoulders jerked when he chuckled and the butterflies of doom hit hard on my stomach. He started to raise his head and I found myself unable to look away.I didn't want to meet his eyes or observe the perfect structure of his face. I didn't want to be bewitched by those black orbs and that sweet mouth that could turn even the sourest thing to ripen and become something sweet. His words were manipulative and he knew just how to make them work on me.I would've been fine if I didn't have that strange dream two nights in

Aurelia's POVI haven't been able to get him out of my mind. I concluded our meeting last night but I was yet to recover from it. My wolf whined in my head; asking me if this was really the end and while I was determined to remain stubborn, I could feel that it wouldn't be long before I found myself there again.Only thing was that Liam would have to get me under a spell because I refused to walk all the way over there with my sane mind. Was he eating right? It would be a shame for him to starve to death especially by Norton's hands. What was Andre doing? Why was he taking this long to find him? Didn't Emma leave to provide backup or was she clueless about his whereabouts too?For a woman who claimed to love him more than her own life, she sure was pathetic.Strange, I felt the stab of guilt too at that judgement that was meant for Emma. Hadn't I, at one point, declared my undying love for him? I guess I was no different than Emma but unlike her, I had no goal of redeeming myself. But

Aurelia's POV"Both you and the baby are doing okay," Alice, the healer, informed me.I knew we were fine but hearing it again made me feel even more relieved. It felt like just yesterday I saw our lives flash before my eyes."Prince Norton must be taking really good care of you," she sounded proud and I had to force a smile. It was either that or I'd glare at her so hard, she'll be forced to fit into my shoes."Do you think pheromones from my baby's father can help too?" I folded my arms, keeping a straight face."Yes, of course," she beamed at me. "Actually, that's a very good idea -""There's just one problem. We're not together," her face turned sour immediately. "Oh no, he's not dead. We're just not together.""Oh…in that case then just…keep doing what you're doing," she suggested. "Your baby is fine and if you continue like this, he'll be strong and healthy with no complications at all.""But I'm worried…I don't know if Norton told you-""Prince Norton," she corrected. "Sorry, y

Aurelia's POV"You shouldn’t be here," Liam said as I approached his cell. I wasn't even there yet and he could already smell me. He was right. I shouldn't be here today. He already successfully filled me with his scent yesterday. It should be at least another three days before I come back looking for more.I squeezed the bottle containing the Algereiz plant, reminding myself that I was here because of this and not for anything else.I guess the self reminder was too late. I was already blushing. It wasn't my fault. My thoughts had dropped into the mud when I thought of how 'successfully filled' I was."I wonder what this is about," I heard him mumble before I stepped into his cell. His eyes were already glued on me while I stared at everything else- like his hands for example. It looked painful-"It's okay," he said. "I can barely feel a thing now. They've gone numb," he chuckled like it was supposed to be funny. "But of course, you're not concerned, only curious. That's a new trait.
