บททั้งหมดของ The Alpha's Broken Gift: บทที่ 41 - บทที่ 50

MOSES'S POV I left Matilda and my grandmother to attend a meeting with my betas in my office.Louis had informed me that the Alpha of the Blue Moon pack wished to ally with us, and he was ready to give out his daughter to me as a gift. I had a ghost smile hearing Louis talk about him.Everyone wishes to be like Alpha Daniel."I will think about it," I said to my beta, Louis. After talking about pack security and also the upcoming event that would be taking place in a few months, we decided to call it a day.My mind went back to Matilda as I returned to the hall, and I remembered I hadn't thought of introducing her to pack members officially as their Luna.I did not know if it was a good idea to make her my Luna or monitor her more. She had a good heart, even though she was weak, I sensed a weak aura around her and I believed she had gone through a lot. I couldn't figure out w

MOSES'S POVI felt uneasy when I saw Matilda run away from the scene like that. I wanted to follow her and comfort her so that she would calm down. But when I thought about it, I decided not to do that. She should handle it herself and get better. For her to be my Luna, she needed to get used to my pack's rules, and stop being weak because she would see more of this as long as she stayed in this pack house.I was very strict with my pack rules, and I would not bend the rules for anybody because that was one of the reasons the other pack feared us.My she-wolves always got training as well as the males, no one in my pack was allowed to be weak or lazy for any reason. So, my female wolves were strong like the males because they always got brutal training.Unlike Alpha Daniel's pack that, the females were always petted and protected, which is why they were weak.Probably the

MOSES'S POV Hearing Louis say that Matilda had collapsed sounded surprising to me at first because I was with Matilda for some minutes now.At first, I thought probably he must have mistaken her twin for her and that was the reason why he came running to me.But then, it did not take long for me to realize that I was the one who had mistaken Hilda for Matilda after looking at her very well, and I clenched my fists. The woman I had been talking with and even tried to kiss was Hilda, Matilda's twin sister, and not Matilda.I stood there with a flushed face, trying to process what just happened. I wanted to unleash my anger on her and put Hilda in her place, then I realized that I had to go check on Matilda first before I would have time to deal with her later. I wanted to make sure Matilda was okay first so I left her there, sitting on the bed in my chambers after casting a glance at her, and started running straight to the pack's hospital to make sure that Matilda was not seriously h

HILDA'S POVSeeing how Alpha Moses quickly pardoned me and held back his threat to punish me immediately, Matilda begged him to forgive me, which made me realize something important and rethink all over again. Then I think I had been doing it wrong all along, trying to attack Matilda would not be the best way to get close to Alpha Moses and win his heart. There and then, I made up my mind to re-strategize. Even though I hated Matilda more than anything in this world, I should still learn to get close to her and at least pretend to treat her nicely for some time. That way, I would be able to stay longer here and be able to carry out my plans. The first step would be to make her trust me again, and I know she would give in a matter of time, maybe it might take me a day or two to earn her trust completely."And it looks like it's working already," I said to myself as I sat on the bed in her room that night, watching her tell me her life story about how she had lived in the palace before

MATILDA'S POVI was surprised when Hilda stormed out of the room after her requests. Why did she suddenly flare up? But it was not my fault that no maid was assigned to her, why was she mad at me? Just when I thought she had changed.I turned to the women standing in the room"Did any of you provoke my sister before now?" They both shook their heads."We need to get you ready now, the King would be mad at us if we get there late," They said, bowing politely.Although I had made up my mind initially to not get myself worked up over Hilda again, I still could not stop myself from thinking about what had happened that morning. The gloomy look on my face was evident to me as I looked into the mirror when the maid made my hair while the other one applied ointment to my leg."We are done." The woman smiled at me from the mirror once they were done with my hair. I smiled back as I sat up from the chair, but it was a one-sided smile, I still had thoughts of Hilda in mind as I smiled.Alpha Mo
