The pregnancy was a bit overwhelming for Zeta, and she began to throw up frequently. She thought that she was not going to experience that. " Sorry, baby. What can I do?" Damien asked worriedly. They were sleeping and all of a sudden, Zeta rushed into the bathroom and started retching. " Just pass me a roll of tissue." She said breathing heavily from the force used.Bile welled up in her throat and she groaned, not again. She thought. " Just leave for a bit. I'll be fine." She was irritated and didn't want him to see her like this. It was a wave and it lasted for twenty minutes. " I can't leave you like this." She glared at Damien, " It only lasts for twenty minutes. Get me a watch." She said and sat on the bowl of the toilet seat. " Okay." He replied and went to bring his wristwatch." Zeta locked the door, he was going to get worried sick for nothing. It was a normal occurrence in pregnant females. She was already two months gone, and it will soon be over.Damien returned and

Relieved by Belinda's extra one week chance, George felt a renewed sense of determination. He knew he had one more week to carry out her orders or else his hidden secrets would be leaked out and he had no choice than to start finalizing another plans in kidnapping Adrien. While enjoying her vacation although Alpha Damien was not with her at the moment, Zeta's phone suddenly rang, startling her. She glanced at the screen and saw that the caller was marked as "Unknown." Curiosity piqued, she hesitantly answered the call not knowing who called, she just had to answer because she was anxious. "Hello?" Zeta said cautiously waiting for the person to answer, A distorted voice on the other end of the line spoke urgently. "Zeta, I need to tell you something important" Zeta strained to hear the person's words clearly, but the connection was poor, and the voice kept breaking up and she couldn't even hear properly, She tried as much as she can to listen to what the person was saying but to no a

Suddenly the connection was severed and Alpha Paul's call came in immediately. " I can't seem to track him anymore. The connection is scrambled." He explained to Damien who was pissed at the treacherous attitude of that boy. Well, ye just needed to meet him." I'm on my way to the site. I could be lucky to see him there." Damien said. Alpha Paul didn't think Wayne was still in that place , but who was her to tell him not to check. " Alright, just make sure that your cell phone is on always." He told his friend. The kidnappers might have something up their sleeves, and it was their job to find out." Yes, I will speak to you later." Alpha Damien replied and hung up. They arrived at Davenport thirty minutes later, and Alpha Damien didn't waste time to go to the building behind the library. It was exactly as it was described. Decrepit, he walked closer to the building, and noticed the cracks in the walls, the yellow paint faded and peeled off. He could only describe it in one word dec

The door rattled and the door knob was turned open. Zeta opened her eyes at the noise. " Your food" A young girl who looked to be in her late teens said. She had an accent that made Zeta think that she was not from around here." Thank you. Please can I get some more water?" Zeta replied. The cup in front of her was too small or quench her thirst." I will ask them." The girl replied and went out of the room.Zeta smelt the food, it didn't smell weird. She was pregnant and needed some source of nutrient. She dug into the pasta. How did they know that she enjoyed pasta? The girl returned after some minutes with a bigger jug of water. Zeta was shocked to see her sporting a black eye." What happened to you?" She inquired in concern. The girl kept mum and exited the room quietly. " I hope you talked to her, spilled many secrets to her, right?" Wayne asked. " No, I didn't." Dawn was sad when she left the room. She was not expecting the blow that connected with her face when she came o

He replied mockingly.I pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed, holding myself back from saying what I would regret. "So, what is the bad news?" I asked." I'll let you find out yourself." The man replied, and hung up the call. I was getting pissed about these people calling and hanging up when I needed news. Daniel turned to me, "Any lead?" He asked curiously. I shook my head, and summoned an emergency meeting with the guards, "Adrien will be arriving tomorrow. Keep an eye on the driver. Follow him." I told them. The next morning, everyone was alert and we waited for Adrien till noon. I made some calls to look after my business. I looked at my watch after my last call. When is he arriving?
