Calhoun’s POVJesus! I am so fucked! It’s hard to believe that Emilia Dante filmed herself naked, and did the same to me while I was asleep on the bed. And then she sent it to Kristen. To say I am shocked is an understatement. It’s all clear now, why Kristen has been fucking crying. And I can feel my whole world crumbling at my feet. This is worse than I ever thought. To think I wanted to keep it buried within me, that I was drugged and someone had an affair with me. Only to find out later that she actually filmed us naked and sent it to my mate to stir up problems to destroy our relationship.I can’t even look at Kristen right now. She’s wailing so hard that her small shoulders are starting to shake along with her.“Kristen, I can explain,” My hands are trembling when I put them on top of her thighs, and she hurriedly swats them away.“There’s nothing to explain, Calhoun. The video is enough proof that you’re cheating on me.” Her voice is shaky because she’s letting out loud and thro

Calhoun's POV It's been two days yet I am unable to face Kristen, even though I miss her more than life itself.I've never seen her look so hurt before. The way she stared at me keeps killing me when I had flashbacks. And it keeps tormenting the shit out of my senses.Had I known, I never would've tagged alongside Bruce to finalize those documents, but I had no idea Alpha Morrison wasn't joining us but his daughter, Emilia.Only God knows how heartbroken my mate currently is. I don't even know how I'd have reacted if someone had sent such a video of Ben and a naked and an asleep Kristen to me.Maybe Ben Gregory would have been dead by now.Emilia caused a huge problem for me and Kristen, that Kristen couldn't believe everything I said… She now sees me as a liar and a cheat. She's starting to question everything and it hurts so bad because she's the only thing I love in this world.I haven't visited since she walked me out of her apartment, and I am staying away because I am too chick

Kristen's POV I wasn't expecting to barge into Ben's coronation when I arrived at Alpha Gregory's mansion. The situation at hand is something I won't even wish for an enemy because I've never felt so humiliated in my white life before.Over a thousand people from the Green Valley pack are staring at me with wide eyes because they weren't expecting to see me look like a pregnant, starved rogue.Had I known, I would have stayed out in my room. But the more I stayed there, the more it felt like the whole place lacked ventilation, and if I didn't leave, I would die. So I had to run away. Because staying there reminds me of Calhoun. How he tried to plead with me to listen to him and trust him. How he knelt on the floor and crawled to catch up with me. It was still so fresh that I kept seeing him there, staring at me with those eerily blue eyes that literally still pierce through my soul.Back to the present. There's a deafening silence as eyes keep growing wide in their sockets and jaws

Calhoun's POVShe's still dancing until I put my hand on her shoulder to stop her, and then she jumps on me, hooking her legs around my waist. Not again. I inwardly facepalm.I should be staying as far away from females as possible.First was Emilia and now Sarafina. Kristen's best friend."Hello, handsome," she slurs and I hurriedly pull her away from me.It takes a few minutes for me to drag her to a corner of the club so I can talk to her because of the blaring music."Where are you taking me?" Sapphire inquires."I need to talk to you," I tell her after sighing."Who are you?" She frowns when she asks. And the gasps when I take my hood off."Oh my god, Alpha Calhoun," she exclaims with her hands in her mouth. She's not so drunk after all. "Have you seen Kristen?" I let out the question that had been on my chest."No," Sapphire shakes her head before tapping on her chin thoughtfully, "it's been a week already."I sigh in distress at this, because it seems like I'm not getting anyw

Calhoun's POV*Five hours ago.*"Oh my God, Calhoun," Natalie rushes to hug me and I just close my eyes in their sockets because I wasn't expecting this reaction from her.I wasn't expecting this from her after I made myself clear the last time she came to visit me at my office. But it seems like she's already having the wrong idea of what I'm here for. Shit."I can't believe you came for me at last," Natalie hugs me harder and buries her head in my neck, sniffing on my scent.Sniffing on me was a die-hard habit of hers, I don't push her away. I am waiting for her to get done and then I'll speak.Natalie… is she being delusional or something? How can she put up such high hopes upon seeing me, thinking I came for her? She hasn't been seeing anyone this whole time? It's been five months.Wait a minute, does this mean Kristen isn't here?"I thought I lost you forever, I cried myself to sleep when I recalled the good memories we had and even our wedding day," Natalie finally steps back
