I UNKNOWINGLY SAVE AN ALPHA のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 31 - チャプター 40

CHAPTER 31 LIAM’S POV. I got to Freda’s workplace twenty five minutes later and called her hoping she’d pick my call immediately. After several times the phone rang, she finally picked it and I heaved a sigh of relief. I walked into the hospital at her behest and went to the second floor, trying to locate her office with the description she gave me. After what seemed like three minutes, i finally located it. I saw her seated majestically on her seat the moment I stepped foot on the floor, her face glowing bright with happiness at my arrival. She waved energetically when I made eye contact with her. “Li, you made it! Come here,” She said and I smiled lightly before taking a few strides towards her, my eyes not leaving hers. I held the file firmly till I got to the table and dropped it. So many thoughts running through my mind. “Oh, thanks so much,” She said hastily and I simply nodded. She took another glance at me before flashing me a light smile. “You look really good tod

CHAPTER 33LIAM’S POV I was all by myself in the house, thinking of a way I could confess my feelings to Freda. I was now sure that I love her and I wouldn’t want to inconvenience her. I could inconvenience her by spoiling our friendship just by confessing my feelings to her when I wasn’t sure that she was in her right state of mind. Darren made Freda give up on love the moment they broke up, so I couldn’t say about that moment. It’s been a while since I and Freda had a moment of our own, because she has been busy recently with her job. “What is going on?” I asked myself the moment I realized that Freda and myself hasn’t spent time for a while. I sighed and picked up my phone, expecting to see a text from her, but to my utmost disappointment, I saw nothing. It was already late and I knew that Freda would return very soon, I also knew that I needed to freshen up because I really looked messy. I stood up from my bed, heading towards the bathroom when I suddenly felt a jolt run

Chapter 35 FREDA’S POV I walked back to my office with different thoughts rummaging in my head. I was tired and confused. “Why was he so bothered and tried to find out much about Zack,” I kept on wondering and entered my office. I knew I wasn’t needed in the office, since I had met Kaine who wanted my presence in his office urgently but I wanted some time alone so I could think. I was wondering if I could ask Zack if he knew him, but I sighed when I remembered that he doesn’t remember his past. I was about to go out for a walk, so I could calm my nerves and relax my mind. I stood and was about to leave when my phone rang loudly. I dipped my hand into my handbag and brought out my phone, checking the caller ID and my eyes widened when I saw ‘Liam’ as the caller ID. I had not changed the name to Zack or rather still, I have not had the time to change it. I picked the call quickly and placed it on my right ear, as I walked back to my seat. “Hey,” His voice sounded lively over

Chapter 37. Freda’s POV. For a while that I’ve been paying attention to Zack, I noticed that he was lost in thoughts. I know how he has been craving to deal with his brother, but I’ve always wished for him to take things easy.“Zack!” I suddenly called from the kitchen, and he turned back. “Yes,” Zack responded. “Have you managed to remember how you cooked when you had amnesia?” I asked, trying to divert his attention from his thoughts. Zack simply chuckled and nodded. “Cooking was my hobby....I cooked a lot when I stayed abroad, and I learnt new dishes,” Zack said smilingly, as I mouthed an O. “No wonder,” I muttered as I diverted my attention to the food I was preparing, but even still, my mind roamed about. I was really worried about Zack, and his thoughts that I didn’t notice when he tiptoed behind me, with the intention of scaring me. But I was quick to notice the presence of someone behind me, that I had turn quickly. “Uhmmm,” I gulped nervously, because he stood so

Chapter 39 Kaine's POV. I was in my house making a call that night. Telling the person from the other end that I'll be back soon and that they should wait before deciding anything. Before I could decide anything I would notice a figure lurking in the shadows and abruptly end the call to go investigate it. Getting outside I didn't see anything and was rather confused. Going back inside I heard the footsteps once again and followed it. But the figure was lucky to escape as the figure was equally as fast as I was or even faster. Annoyed, I'll go back home and prepare for my journey while thinking who the mysterious stalker was. I shut my doors, went round the house, looked through the windows and shut them too. Adjusted my dark flowered curtains to fit in the size of my window. I paced back and forth in my apartment, trying to make sense of the situation. Who was that lurking figure I saw? Why were they following me? These questions swirled in my mind, fueling a mix of curiosity a
