Chapter 11 Tabatha had been outside leaning against the wall of the shop when she happened to look up. A flash of silver on the roof of the building across the street caught her attention and she quickly pushed away from the brick behind her. Looking over her shoulder, she saw the girls clustered around Kane at the register with Michael and Nick watching them. Whispering a silent plea that no one would notice her, she quickly darted across the street to the building. She saw a man leap from that roof, to the roof of the adjacent building and frowned before following him. Her heart started to race when she thought she saw a shock of blonde hair. Kriss slowed down when he felt Tabatha’s presence on the street below him. Dean was ahead of him trying to keep track of Misery’s movements and didn’t notice when Kriss came to a halt. Chapter 15 Angelica and Syn were literally plowing a row through the multitude of demons pouring into the cemetery from the rift. She quickly noticed the man with her was mostly attacking demons that were headed toward her but she let it slide on the grounds he was helping even though he was being picky about it. Zachary’s flame snake wound its way through the demons, setting them ablaze along with a couple of half-eaten zombies. Seeing what was going on in his peripheral vision, Zachary set the area around them on fire, creating a protective circle of flame.
