Iris's POV I was a little angry and disappointed when Arthur left with Kelvin. I waited a few minutes for his arrival, but soon discovered that he wasn't going to come. I stepped out of the office only to jump into Kelvin. “Hey Kelvin.” I said nervously. I couldn't look him in the eye as I was embarrassed by the happenings of that day that he barged in on. “Iris.” He greeted. “Arthur.” I said shortly. Arthur's POVMy blood boiled as Iris kept talking about her parents and family, she was overjoyed about it and even boasted of them. I had to hold back from venting out my anger and causing a scene, the same people who caused me pain where the ones she boldly praised and advertised in my presence, I didn't want to do anything that would hurt her hence I took it out on the meal she made for me.At first I felt cared for and important when she insisted that she made me a meal, I could feel the sincerity and care in her tone and actions but the fact that she brought up the same set of people who ruined a part of my life gave me a murderous intent.
