Lahat ng Kabanata ng Bidding for love: Kabanata 61 - Kabanata 70

Sarah's POVSomething just seems off with John. Since I collapsed, John has been acting strangely. He just walked into my room and asked Rosaline to leave, but he hasn't said anything for close to a minute now. “Mr. Stones, you've been mute for a while now. Is everything alright?” I purposely called him by his surname to see his reaction. “I am sorry. Do you care for lunch?” It looks like he just got his act together. He handed the food pack he had returned with to me. I opened it to find something I love to eat. He had French fries in there and a burger as well. I was so dumbfounded that I didn't know how to express the heartfelt gratitude I had. “I felt you would love them. You told me something about this the last time we went on a date” he said. He sounds softer now. I won't fall for any of his games again. “You don't understand how I feel right now. I am so happy. Thank you so much” I gave a heartfelt appreciation to him while pulling him in for a warm hug. “You don't need

John's POV I kept mute because I didn't know whether the stranger was referring to me or someone else. “You seem sad, or will I say confused?” He said. This time, he made it obvious that he was talking to me. He didn’t look drunk anyway. “It's none of your business. Just scurry away, young fella” I said arrogantly. “You don't need to be harsh on me. I just want to help” He had a large smile on his face, which showed that he wasn't even pissed at the way I spoke to him. I made sure I didn't make any eye contact with him. “What do you want? Should I buy you a drink” I don't love people barging into my privacy, so this man here was getting on my nerves. “I am Josh. Nice to meet you” He took a seat on the chair next to me and gave his hand for a handshake. While I kept contemplating whether to give him a handset or not, I kept looking at his hand with utter disgust all over my expression. “The name’s John” I finally shook his hand after understanding that it would not make any sense

John's POVI raised my face to see if she was ready to give me a massage when I noticed her looking at me. She wasn't just looking at me. She had a look of lust all over her expression. She bit her lips in anticipation, but she didn't look like she was conscious of what she was doing.I snapped my finger below her nose, forcing her back to the consciousness of her environment. “I am sorry” she quickly apologised.I ignored her and went ahead to lie down in a supine position on the bed. “There is a bottle of oil right next to the sofa. If you have any need for it” I informed her. She nodded in positive affirmation and slowly left the bed to grab the oil.I could not see what she was doing from my position, but I could tell she was trying to get ready to give me the best massage. I heard the door lock moving, so I presumed she was locking the door.Out of curiosity, I was forced to lift myself a bit with my arm and look at what she was doing. I turned and noticed her taking a deep breat

Sarah's POV His behaviour at the counter was something I could not explain. I have seen people react when a stranger tries to harass their helpless employees, but this one was more than that. He was showing dominance. Just like a lion trying to claim his mate, his eyes beamed with violence. I was scared for a moment there because I didn't know what the outcome of such a clash was going to result in. “What happened back there?” I decided to break the silence and get an explanation from him. “What did I do? I was just trying to protect you. You could clearly see that he was trying to harass you there.” he went on like a speeding train. I watched his expression and found out that he was filled with rage at the moment. But he was trying so hard to bottle it and keep it down. I just followed my instincts without hesitation. I pulled him in for a hug and placed his head on my shoulder while patting him on his back softly. “Just calm down” I whispered into his ear softly. In no time, the

Sarah's POVThree hours in a room, and I can't believe I intentionally and forcefully decided to confine myself in her. I just decided to stay away from John for a while, after the whole incident. It's a good thing that when I returned to my room in a haste, Rosaline wasn't still there.John has been trying to get me out to listen to him. But I don't want to even see him. I am not angry with him for trying to have some fun with me. I just feel I can't resist him if he tries again. His eyes are too charming. It will be very hard for me to say no. He just kept knocking on the door like he was going to break it the next minute. I had to stand up from my bed where I was doing nothing, and open the door.I left only a little space there for me to peek through and see him. “I told you that I want to be alone!” I said sternly. I looked into his eyes, but all I could see was a young man who was so sorry for his deeds.“Sarah, I didn't mean to disrespect or harass you. I am deeply sorry for wh
