Stefan pov.We went to the counter and met up the attendance, "Hi." I began, trying to initiate a conversation."Hi all, which city will you like to go to? The train will be here in a minute or two." She said, she was typing away on her laptop, she didn't even spared us a glance and well, she wouldn't have known us even if she stared at us because of our masks."We just need your help, um... well that's if you don't mind." Owen said huskily, switching to his playboy tone, he even removed his mask as he leaned more to the lady, who had already stopped typing. The lady slowly raised her head like a fairy tale princess and I became irritated and disgusted immediately, and her shout had to broke all my self control. "Oh my gush! It's Owen! One of Stefan's best friends!" She shouted, gasping with her hands on her chest.I hit my hands on her deck in irritation, "I want to see your manager immediately!" I told her and instead of replying me, she had her mouth slightly opened with her hands

Mabel pov.It had been a week since I I left the mansion and I have been doing perfectly fine, even as it was so hard for me to cope with everything happening here as it was way too different from all my experiences at home and for the fact that I have never been alone all my life, made it more harder and I can't deny the fact that I missed Stefan a lot, but I was glad that I left him, at least, it was for the best. For the whole week, I had been staying in a tidy, functional space of an hotel room, with crisp white sheets and a well-stocked minibar. The room had a flat-screen TV, a desk and chair, and a plush bathrobe hanging in the closet. The bathroom had a marble countertop, a walk-in shower, and fluffy towels. The room was scented with a light, clean fragrance, even as the room feels comfortable, I still can't call it a home and now, I was getting ready to go to my new house, the one I bought with my savings and I was in New York City.I got into the en suite and took a quick bat

Stefan pov."Jesus! Owen!" I shouted as I jerked up from his sofa, with my hands clenching tightly to my face. "My handsome face!" I shouted with great difficulties as pains surged through my lips and up to my head."That will always remind you to mind your business in some areas in my relationship and to be a better friend." Owen said nonchalantly. He was not even feeling remorseful.I gently removed my palms from my lips when I felt the pains subsiding, I could feel the swelling on my lips and I felt like destroying Owen's face too at that moment and for the fact that I had only lied about hearing a moan, his room was even soundproofed in the first place, I just got a bigger lips for nothing."Wow! I can't deny the fact that you are looking more handsome this way." Owen mocked me and I remained silent, I only glared at him before going back to my seat and sat down.Owen sighed and sat on the sofa opposite mine. "I don't understand man, what the hell did you meant by that text you dr

Stefan pov.I stood up back from the floor where I fell into and stared around the room again. My pictures with that of Mabel's were hung around the room in many different styles, some had Mabel sitting on my laps as I sat on a seat, some was our pictures on our bed, some had us kissing and smooching each other and we were just staring romantically at each other in some.I stood still very shocked, I was not expecting him to get all those pictures and for the fact that the pictures felt real, like it was just happening, which gave me a feeling that Mabel was just by my side and that everything was okay.I took my night bath that evening, before going down the stairs for dinner as I was so hungry. The only food I had eaten since the morning was my breakfast.I was sure that Mabel wouldn't have allowed that, if she was to be there with me. She would have either cooked lunch with us as we were going to the company, or just get us both some snacks in the company. I missed her so much.As

Stefan pov.The car was silent for the remaining journey til we got to our destinations, which was a mansion, owned by Owen, George and me. We contributed some moneys together to build it and just to have a property we can point to that is collectively owned by the three of us.I got out of the car with Ralph, and we began to walk deeper into the compound together, "Sir, I got the meeting scheduled and it is tomorrow's morning." He told me.I glanced at him, thinking that tomorrow's morning was too early, I still have to sit down and think of every possible questions I would be asked, so that I could have a befitting answer for each and everyone of the questions I would be asked. "Why tomorrow's morning? Why not next week?" I questioned him."It's not my fault sir, they are just in such an hurry to listen to you, and of course to have you among them. I really tried to convince them, but they didn't want to listen. Maybe I should tried calling them, instead of just chatting with them."
