POV Katarina King As I walked into the hospital I felt the tightness in my chest. Just not so long ago I was in one of these rooms and hooked up to these machines. Now it was Veronica. She ran to me and I held her tight. She looked up at me, her eyes swollen from lack of sleep. “ I-I’m so sor-ry Alejandro, I-I didn’t.”“ Shh, shh, baby.
