Lily's POV:Blake looked in her direction, and then shrugged nonchalantly, maintaining his composure. "I don't know. Perhaps she has some business to attend to within the mansion."What business??? I raised my brow at him and he maintained his straight face." I don't know kitten, " he replied and I scoffed while rolling my eyes.Something felt off by her unannounced arrival. And as if on cue, Mrs. Smith, emerged from the house, elegantly strolling towards the redhead, eagerly embracing her."Khloe, it's so good to see you after a long time," my mother-in-law embraced her and my stomach knotted with rage.So she called Blake's ex?But why?A frown deepened at the sight of the two women engaging in such camaraderie...Questions and insecurities tugged at me, overshadowing the serenity of the morning. Mrs Smith and her guest strolled into the mansion. "Alpha, Luna, your breakfast," the omega servant I had sent announced with a tray of breakfast before us.... I heaved a sigh."Okay, tha

Lily's POV:Where the fuck is Blake??? The whole day I hadn't seen him since we had a slight argument about Khloe's presence… I slouched in my bed as I waited for his return... it's been hours since I last saw him around the mansion. The hours were becoming odd, and his absence unsettling.Could he be with Khloe??? my heart thudded with anxiety. My wolf immediately chimed in mind link to calm me. 'I doubt that... Remember when we bumped into her after dinner... she looked like she was looking for Blake, ' she said and I sighed softly knowing Khloe wasn't with him.Everything about that woman irked me, I wanted her out but Blake couldn't do a thing probably because he was scared to go against his mother who had hired the slut to seduce my man but he just couldn't see it because well he is a man and they don't see these things until it's too late.I peeked at the clock on my cell and it was almost midnight... my worry grew. Why wasn't Blake back home already?Maybe Ryan can know where

Lily's POV:It's been 24 hours since we arrived at the resort, and the sunlight streamed through the curtains, filling my old apartment with a warm and inviting glow I had missed since returning to Blood Moon whose climate was either cold or wet with little sunshine. "Oh my goddess… I wonder how Blake is taking this break in our relationship," I murmured as I rolled over in bed to get ready for the day, but I couldn't bring myself to get out of bed. 'What are we even here without Blake?' Sasha sarcastically whined via mind link because our mate wasn't here.I scoffed, ' Because he needs to miss us a little,' I replied to her whinnying even though deep down in my heart I too was missing Blake so much and I didn't know if I could stay strong at my words and avoid him completely while he puts his mother in check before I returned home.Oh goddess, I hope I made the right decision by leaving the pack with the twins… I rolled over, Jetlagged coursed through my tired body, and every bone

Lily's POV:A month later back in Blood Moon… "Why are we having a double bachelorette party when you are the one getting mated?" I asked raising my brow at Sue who was busy touching up make-up in one of the hottest club's bathrooms in the pack.Sue turned around with pursed lips and sighed sharply, "Well, Luna, it's simple… you didn't have a bachelorette party before marrying Blake so you are having one with me," she replied haughtily and I gasped with wide eyes."Sue!" I exclaimed breathlessly as I couldn't believe what she had trickled me into…The whole day I had thought we were celebrating Sue's bachelorette party and not me included.Sue let out a sly grin, "What? Don't tell me you aren't secretly happy I planned it," I rolled my eyes at her antics, "You know I don't like the attention bachelorette parties have on the bride-to-be," I sighed heavily while my heartbeat increased. She let out a tight-lipped smile while approaching me by the faucets I had rested my arms on while wa

Blake's POV:'Congratulations Alpha and Luna, you are pregnant,' The doctor's words kept ringing in the back of my mind while I got ready for Ryan's mating ceremony.I couldn't believe it when he said Lily was pregnant again when we weren't even trying to have more pups... To be honest, I was over the moon with joy and excitement because I had missed the first pregnancy of our twins, all because I was a dick and wasn't ready to accept Lily as a mate. I wasn't going to be that man again.I admit, I felt guilty and regretful for not being there for her and my pups, for not seeing her belly grow, for not feeling the kicks of our babies, for not holding her hand when she gave birth…I wanted to make up for the lost time, to show her how much I loved her and our family. I wanted to be the best mate and father I could be.But Lily didn't seem as happy as I was. She looked worried and scared even as if she didn't want to have another child. I didn't understand why. She loved our twins Mason a
