Max’s POV That night… I choose Kya over all else. I desired to be near her and as Alpha of this pack, I get what I desire. I made my way back to the hospital to see her against my better judgment. After returning to the hospital I came into the outer room connected to Kya's treatment room and gazed over at her through the little window. I realized my attraction to this beautiful girl could be dangerous. At that moment something inside compelled me to stay with her though I did not know why.
