Sixty Shades Of The Devil のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

Scarlett's POV: I watched Max penning down his signature and when he finished, he handed the book and pen back to the delivery man and in exchange collected his package. " Thank you," Max spoke while smiling before shutting the door after the delivery man had left. He turned towards me, a mocking smirk on his face as his finger ran over the well packaged birthday present he claimed to get for Mom." So when are you getting yours?"I pressed my lips onto one another, lost of words, partially ashamed that I had nothing for my her." Nothing? Ah!"He shook his head before walking past me going to hide the present in a leather bag he had also gotten not long ago." I'll find something better than yours,"I told him. Snatching my bag from the couch, I began to make my way towards the door." And who's going to lend you the money?"I stopped on my tracks, considering what he had just said. He was right, I really do not have much money with me, shit!" None of your business,"I replied, ann

Scarlett's POV:A mistake! It could be a mistake or it could be one of his hot storming jokes. If we were to share a night together then I wouldn't hesitate to climb on top of him and enjoy the pleasurable moment that would transpire between us. The thought alone gave me goosebumps and not to even think my fantasies would actually turn into reality.Biting on my lower lip, my cheeks sting from all the blushed I got as I couldn't help but re-read the messages over and over again.I didn't even know what to say and I didn't want to look too desperate for him. I didn't want to get his hopes so high so he could eventually break me again. I didn't want to let myself be one of his toys, he had a lot of girlfriends so he wouldn't even choose me even if he had the chance to.Me: I can return back your money in the meantime Sir.What was wrong with me? I didn't know! Could I actually get the money and payback within a short term? No!. With a sigh, I cleared the message, nervously playing with

Scarlett's POV: " I have something for you, Letty," I blinked repeatedly and confusedly as he finally inclined from me, heading to his desk while being cautious of his steps. He picked up a white envelope and returned back to me and stretched it for me to collect it. " Have it,"I narrowed my eyes a bit, eager to know what was in there and why he would give it to me, although, I knew for certain that whatever all these were, it wasn't going to fall into the expectations of mine. Nevertheless, I collected the envelope, hesitant to open it to visualize the content it contains." I hope you like it," Sure, there was a clear sarcastic tone when he spoke and that simply confirmed my thoughts, this wasn't going to be good.Swallowed in curiosity, I let loose the envelope and brought out the coloured paper I found inside, my eyes skimming through the write ups, one which I didn't let my brain fathom. I glanced up at the boss." What's this for?"His burning gaze told me otherwise, ‘shut t

Scarlett:I could feel the breeze, the dancing trees, the footsteps, the man and everything all began to slowly fade from my sight and be replaced with pouring liquid from above. I didn't think it was the rain nor do I know what the liquid was, but then I could feel my stomach gushing out with a thick substance which I knew was my blood. I groaned in pain, the pain I felt was actually real. I didn’t think this was some dream...this was real, the man in the cloak, the woman and the stab on my stomach, they're all real.I struggled to get my eyes open, I succeeded, taking in the familiar view of our house ceiling, the pain in my stomach hit me in multiples that I could hear myself wailing aloud. I weakly struggled to get on my feet, my imbalanced steps and doozy eyes were beginning to get the best of me, I clutched my bleeding stomach, my blood oozing uncontrollably that it already stained my shirt and my hand, even rolling down to my legs. I struggled to breath, my mind ignorant of

" You're an elf, Scarlett."It wouldn't stop echoing in my head, the more the voice echoed, the more pain I felt. It seemed impossible! Everything seemed overwhelming. Who would have thought that I, Scarlett Brooks would one day turn out to be like those fictional characters from their fantasy world in the books I read. An elf? I am...an elf? With a sickening breath, I gasped and forced my eyes open. Despite the temperature of the room, I felt hot within myself, my body covered with my heat that it looked like I had been bathed. I was laying on the bed, I looked around, Hermie wasn't there anymore and in the cause of gazing through the room, my eyes landed on the sparkling long mirror that relaxed against the wall, calling me to come over to it. But what if all that I heard and saw were just a dream? None of them could be real, for all I knew, it could be one of those spooky nightmares I get. However, there was only one way to confirm my thoughts. I climbed out of the bed, once my
