CHAPTER 18 WON'T ACCEPT AS LUNA

Aiva's POVI can't believe this. It's the audacity to ask me to break up with someone like he means something to me that's even more annoying. Just who does he think he is?"And you think I'm going to break up with him for you? Just because you asked me to?" I asked him. He ran his fingers through his hair on frustration, "Why don't you just listen to me? He wants nothing serious to do with you okay?""Coming from you? I should believe that?""He's not someone of your league. Don't you know who he is? He is a pack leader which means he's ruling one of the biggest packs in the world!""So? What's your point?" I still don't get where he is going with all of this. What if he's the pack leader? I knew that before I chose to date him. He's my second chance mate and he's not rejecting me so why not?"Can't you see? His pack will never allow someone like you to become their Luna. They won't accept you. Everyone is going to treat you as a joke. He might get pressured and the same thing will

CHAPTER 19 PLAY GAMES

Leo's POVI think I need to make it clearer to that idiot that she's mine now and he needs to stay the fuck away from her. What exactly is his problem? He clearly rejected her and when things didn't work out for him, he wants her? I'm not going to take that from anyone. "I already told you to not worry about things like that." She pulled me into a hug that gave me assurance. I smiled and hugged her back, "I'm not worried anymore. You already assured me." She pulled away, "I have to go to work now. I think we've settled whatever was wrong before."I nodded, "You're right but you don't have to go to work. You can take the day off and–""Don't tell me you're going to let me slack off just because I'm your girlfriend now. You can't be doing things like that alpha." She cuts me off. She took her helmet, "Let's go to work immediately. As the manager of the biker's club, I command you to leave."I chuckled, she looked really beautiful. "Yes ma'am. Let's go."We got back on the bike and s

Chapter 20 MY NEIGHBOUR

Aiva's POVI went outside after giving Ryan his food. I was surprised to see him standing with someone else in front of my place. I decided to move closer to them and I saw Leo wasn't smiling like earlier. He looked so angry that I had to look at the other guy to figure out why. Who is he anyways? He looks good too and I know he's not from this neighborhood so who he is he? Is some sort of enemy for Leo or what? They're definitely not friends to be looking at each other like that. "I asked what you are doing here Caleb." Leo spoke up. Instead of answering Leo, he turned to me with a smile. "This must be the popular new girlfriend of yours. She's pretty I have to admit." Leo took a step closer, "I don't mind killing you here and now but I want you to get the fuck out of here right now before I do."He laughed, "Wow. You're so harsh. Come on, you and I used to be great friends. For old times sake, introduce me to your girlfriend."He seems to be more interested in meeting me than ta

Chapter 21 ENGAGED

Aiva's POVI stared at her in disbelief because I didn't want to believe she was telling the truth. It's Cassie of course. She's delusional and would like to make anything up. I burst into laughter, "Wow Cassie. You are a real comedian. Why didn't you tell me you're going to be this good at comedy." She frowned, "How dare you laugh at me you wench? You think I'm a joke?"I nodded, "Yes I think you're a joke. You're fucking delusional Cassie. Get a life, I'm tired of battering words with you." "Should we beat her up for you? She's getting on my nerves right now!" One of her minions said. "Exactly. Who does she think she is?" Another one added. I sighed, crossing my arms on my chest. "This is so exhausting. I have work to do this morning, why do I have to listen to this?""What did you say you fucking bitch?" One person tried to attack me but Cassie stopped her. "Don't do it. She's not worth it. You can see she's so shameless so she'll tell Alpha Leo. You don't want to get on his

Chapter 22 Break the bond

Aiva's POV I couldn't stop thinking about what Cassie said to me and I kept thinking about it even during class. I acted like what she said didn't affect me when it does deep down. I just don't want to be played again. I don't want to be in an empty relationship that I'm just going to lose again. When we closed, I got my bag and walked out like a zombie. Of course, I tried not to let anyone know I'm still thinking of what Cassie said to me. Cassie didn't come to bother me, so did Lucas and I was glad. I bumped into someone when I wasn't looking. "Sorry." I said and walked past the person. "Watch where you're going beautiful." That voice brought me back to my senses. "It's dangerous and you might hurt yourself." I turned to see that same guy that Leo has bad blood with yesterday. His cousin Caleb who badly wants his position as the Alpha of the Howl pack even when he's just related by maternal relations. "Excuse me." I said and wanted to leave, he grabbed my hand and made me s

CHAPTER 23 Can't lose my mate

Leo's POV I asked Cassie not to say anything to Aiva and she didn't listen. I've been trying to call Aiva but she's not picking up. There's no way I'm going to lose her! I'm not going to make that mistake again because she's mine now! I asked someone to watch over her for me while I attended to some business. I don't think I'll be able to end this if I don't take care of the main issue first. As for Caleb, I'm going to get him later and make him pay for not listening to me. I put a call through the Cassie and she picked almost immediately. "What's up Alpha Leo? Finally getting to your senses now?" She questioned and I got more angry than I already was. "I want to see you right now Cassie. Don't make me repeat myself. If you don't come, I'll find you." I said as soon as she picked up and hung up. But I knew she probably won't be waiting for me somewhere she would be alone. So I drove my bike to her father's mansion where I met her waiting for me outside. Different thoughts ran t

CHAPTER 24 I want to marry you

Aiva's POV I avoided going to work for three days and talking to Leo. I thought I was going to be okay if I try not to think too much about it but it was hell for me. It felt like I was being pushed into fire endlessly. I didn't know what else to do because I didn't want to face him. I'm too embarrassed to know the fact that I'm not even in his future plans and he just wants to have a moment with me. I don't want to be with anyone who's not going to have me in their future plans. My life means a lot to me and I need to make the right choices if I want to be okay for the rest of my life. I thought he was going to come look for me but he didn't which confirmed everything I was told. I tried to get this out of my head so many times but I only ended up thinking about it more. To make things worse, Cassie paid me a visit just to mock me. I was going out to get some groceries when I bumped into her outside. I tried ignoring her and leaving but she pulled me back. "Are you going to i

CHAPTER 25 Luna of the howl pack

Aiva's POV "What did you say? You want me to do what with you?" I asked because I couldn't understand how. "I want to marry you and make you my Luna Aiva. That's what I said." He replied, getting me more shocked again. I couldn't help but think if he was in his right senses or not. Is he just saying this so I can forgive him when he has no intention of making me his Luna or is this really the truth? "Are you even serious about this? Do you know what you're saying?" I fired at him, trying hard to hold back myself. "You're my mate and that's what I'm supposed to do, isn't it? Why do you look so surprised?" He fired back, looking like he did nothing wrong. "Well because... You're engaged to Cassie and–" I tried telling him but he stopped me. He sighed, "I just told you I broke off the engagement with her to be with you because I only want to be with you." "But she's a much better option than me! You can't just do that if your packs expects you to be together." I know I so

Chapter 26 Kissing my mate?

Aiva's POV "What are you doing?" I fired at him. He shrugged, "Kissing my mate? What does it look like I'm doing?" I heard Lucas's bike drive off and I guess he must have heard my moans and he left. I looked at the man in front of me and I don't know what to say. "Why would you be kissing me like that with people around?" I asked, trying to stop my jumping heart. "Because I want everyone to know you're mine. I don't want my mate with any other man. I'm not the one to easily let go of what's mine." He declared. I couldn't help but blush at his possessiveness. I scoffed and went to take a seat. "Why are you still hanging around him? Can't you just tell him not to come to you again?" He asked taking a seat beside me. I shrugged, "Do you think I can control what he does with his body? Do you think I've not told him to stay away from me? He just doesn't listen." "Then, maybe I should just end his life for him to know you're mine and not his to check out. His audacity pisses m
