"So he's just going to stand there and watch us all day?" Reya asked Sierra in a whispering tone as both their eyes traveled slowly until it was fixated at the heavy muscled man standing at the entrance of her front door. He had been there all through the night and he hasn't moved an inch from where he stood. She was sure that he must be another person though because she would've sworn that they had switched roles at one point in time during the night. There's no way on earth that he was able to stand there that long. "He has been standing there all night." She whispered back, her voice taking a note of seriousness as she furrowed her brows heavily at her friend. She wasn't exaggerating. Devono, Debalo or whatever he said was his name must've asked him to stay there because she saw the man take that position after he had whispered something to him last night. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say that he was a full blown statue." Was he stalking her? Was he keeping tabs on her? He wa

"The surgery went well and Nora is recovering just fine." The doctor informed Sierra with a pleasant smile on his face. "We've moved her to the Intensive care unit to monitor her progress and see how well she's responding to treatment. Hopefully, she'd get better soon so that she can be discharged." He added."Thank you so much Doctor." Sierra whispered gratefully, her hands clasped together in deep appreciation. Her sister was out of danger and it's only because of him and how he had helped them so far."I should also commend your efforts Sierra." He said, adjusting his glasses that framed his face. "You made it happen so good job. If you hadn't stepped up, we would probably be singing a different story but I'm glad it didn't come to that." He said with a placating smile.Sierra forced a wry smile. If only he knew what she did to get that money. If only he knew that she had sacrificed her freedom and possibly her entire life to a masked monster whom she barely knew just to save her s

Sierra intentionally sat down on the edge of her bed. It's been ten minutes already and she still hasn't packed yet. She knew that she had given him right over her but that doesn't mean that he could show up in her house and force her to leave with him. She was still worried about Nora and she's yet to hear back from the doctor concerning her sister's case so how could she just leave? Why couldn't he just understand that? And what's the part about her being naked and not needing clothes? Was he trying to say that she would be seen by everyone in his mansion without clothes? Was that part of what moving in with him entailed? What then happens after that? Was he taking her to his place because he had other plans for her? Would she be used by his surbodinates as well? Are they going to sleep with her too? Was that the reason why he said that? The more she gave his statement more thought, the more it terrified her and filled her with dread. He was going to kill her. Reya was right. Why el

"Do you really have to go to work today?" Sierra asked Reya who pulled down her coat from the rack to wear them as she trailed behind her. She wasn't having a good feeling about being in the house all alone while Dean and Reya went about their daily business. She felt like a prisoner and it's all thanks to that bad man who's out to get her."Can't you take today off? Please Reya?" She pleaded desperately. Her voice filled with dread that ran through her entire being. She didn't want to act selfish and she knows that requesting something like this from Reya is selfish but she couldn't help it.It's been three days since she was brought here and although she was happy that he hasn't been able to find her, she still couldn't shake off the feeling that he was still looking and will one day show up here unannounced. Deep down she was hoping that he wouldn't and that he would get tired and give up eventually but even she knows that it wasn't possible. He won't accept defeat so easily.Somet

They were grooming her. That was the only sentence Sierra's brain kept on chanting repeat. They were grooming her for their master. Was this the era of slaves being sold to their masters because they were really going all out with the whole preparation thing. They had bathed her and almost scrubbed her skin dry. They washed her up in scented perfumes and wore her a red lingerie that had lace designs and adjustable shoulder straps with a bow detail and a low V neckline. The garment flowed from a fitted top into a floaty skirt. The lingerie had a slit that ran from her stomach down to the upper thigh with an opening that revealed her breasts. They took great care of her as though their lives depended on it. Well, he had threatened them earlier on so if they don't do it then he would have their heads. How were they able to survive in this place. She would've run mad if she was stuck here with that masked demon."You're ready." They announced when they were done. She snatched her eyes fro
