CHAPTER 52I stood up from the seat and walked to the last row, all I wanted to do was avoid all kinds of conversation with the young man.But Chris would let me leave so easily. He followed me to the last row and called out to me again. “I don't want to hear anything from you, Chris, please go back to your seat,” I said to him to the hearing of everyone in class. He felt embarrassed and went back to his seat. The first chef came in and introduced himself. He gave us a task to bake a butter ice cake along, alongside a manual and procedures on how to make it. We had 2 more lessons before I headed home. When I got home, I walked toward Luciano's room and knocked, it was immediately opened and I walked in. I began to gist Luciano about how my day went, the task, and every other thing aside from my ex. I didn't want him to hear it because I did not seem like I had any interest in him. I freshened up and wore a mini sleeveless black gown. I wanted to look Hot and sexy for my Don. I walke

CHAPTER 54“Elena,” the chef finally said. “You all earned your spot to enter the next stage, congratulations”. I felt tears of joy leaving my eyes but I immediately wiped them off so they wouldn't be noticed by others. After class, I walked out to the parking lot where my driver was patiently waiting for me.I entered the car and we drove back home, when I got into the hallway I began to act sad, so one would think I failed. I came across a maid and stopped her to ask her a question. “Hello,” I said to her “Is the don home?” I asked curiously “Ma'am he got back a few minutes ago” she replied politely. I gave a nod and said, “Thank you”.I walked towards the left wing, I wanted to see him. I got to his door and knocked “come In” I heard him say so I opened the door and walked in.I looked at him with a sad face, “How did your day go, Lu” still holding up my sad look. But he didn't reply to my question; he was rather concerned with my mood. “What is the wrong darling? Why are you sa

CHAPTER 56ELENA I felt light shine brightly on me even while I was still asleep. I subconsciously knew that it was time I woke up, so I slowly opened up my eyes till my eyes were opened to find a pair of bright blue colour eyes looking at me in admiration. I loved the way he looked at me like I was the only sweet thing in the world at the moment. “Good morning” I greeted him with a smile on my face “Good morning my angel, did you sleep well?” he asked me to be sure he did a good job through the night. “Yes I did” I replied to him, “what about you baby” I asked him and raised my hands to his cheeks, massaging my cheeks. “I did my darling,” he replied. While still looking at me “You are a dazzling beauty, my love, I'm so lucky” he said with a grin. I smiled at his comment and ran my fingers on his cheeks slowly,“Aww baby,” I said while my face reddened. “I'm the luckiest to be yours. I'm grateful that I got auctioned into your mansion and arms”He rubbed his nose on mine and smi

CHAPTER 58LUCIANOGigi was so excited when the limousine was driven in by the driver. “Here it is!!” she said so excited. She put the remaining meal in her plate into her mouth quickly and tapped Franco, “Let’s go get dressed Hun” she said to Franco. They stood up from the dining table “Later Lena” Gigi said and they left our apartment into their own. I turned to Elena, “Darling you should go get ready, meanwhile hold on” I said, I went to the bar and brought out the dress I got her for the party, the driver left there because he knew better not to go further pass the boundaries of the bar. I handed it over to her, “here is your dress for the night” I told her and she giggled at me. “You didn't need to darling” “Oh I need to,” I said to her. “I need my woman to look breathtaking when we step into that club”.She walked into the room with the dress in her hand while I followed behind her, she looked back at me and slammed the door, she opened it again and peeked out her head, “Oh

CHAPTER 60ELENA“What do you want to talk about Chris?” I asked me unapologetically. I've been trying to avoid this conversation for a long time back in Chicago but it's evident now that it's better to talk about it now, Chris seems to be more persistent and I need to clear the air to avoid future occurrences. “Why are you so persistent about wanting to have a conversation? Are you trying to make peace with me so I'd no longer be mad at you?” I asked him.“I want you back!!” he said to me. Now this was like a bomb dropped on my body unaware, it exploded and tried to shatter me. Is this guy crazy? I asked myself. After acting like I never existed he comes back a few years later to tell me that he wants me back. That's the height of unseriousness for me!!“What do you take me for!!” I said out loud to his hearing, this guy was beginning to irritate me. “Do you see me as a toy, you play around with it, then you drop it in a dark room and expect to pick it up whenever you return?!!”“F
