I pulled into the schools parking lot, parking in my usual spot. I quickly erased the soft, happy look that I was sporting and set it to my usual one. I fought the smile from my face as Aurora visibly perked up when we entered the cafeteria. Her grip on my shirt loosened as she tried to wiggle out of my hold. I shyly look at the people that were standing in the halls. The stares of curiosity and disbelief I’m getting, even though understandable, is making me uncomfortable.
