Lahat ng Kabanata ng Rejected By Alpha, Chased By Lycan King: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

Delilah's POV: I wasn't expecting him to see Xee outside the restroom. What was he doing there? Barricading my heart in the walls of concrete, I passed around him without sparing him another glance. But I couldn't move much far as a big, meaty hand clasped around my wrist and halted me. I closed my eyes for a moment and allowed myself to relish in his warm touch. Tingles shot at the touch and traveled all over my body, giving me a sense of peace and solace. I despised my body for being a traitor and feeling that way and despised some more at the fact that it was craving more of him. It felt like my heart, body, and mind were running in all different directions and I had no idea whom to follow. My eyes snapped open as he said hoarsely, "You are angry with me." It wasn't a question. It was a statement. I wriggled my wrist to break free from his hold while hissing, "As I should be..." I took in a sharp breath as he stepped behind me, leaving only a minute distance between us, "I nev

Delilah's POV: I swear my eyes must have popped out of their sockets as I just couldn't contain my shock watching Bianca strolling into my mate's room. The bully, cruel Bianca I knew was totally replaced by this soft, elegant lady whose every step screamed grace. Just one look at her made it clear to me that the girl was head over heels in love with my mate. My eyes moved down to her body clad in a loose silk nighty. Her eyes were only for the Alpha as she continued trailing toward him with a slutty smile. At first, she didn't even realize that someone else was also present in the room until she sniffed at the air. Her head whipped in my direction and the storm raged in her eyes as she bit out, "Who is she, Ethan?" And then, all of a sudden, it hit me. I remember a few weeks ago I saw Ethan and Bianca kissing each other at the university gate. And then Adeline words rang in my ears; 'they have been in a relationship for as long as I can remember.' Ethan's eyes stayed glued to Bianc

Delilah’s POV:By the time I woke up, soft rays of the sun were peeking through the tiny windows, illuminating the place in a soft glow. I stretched my arms over my head and yawned groggily. Rubbing the sleep off my eyes, I roamed my gaze to my surroundings. Stone walls, rough, uneven floor, and chilly atmosphere were enough to bring me the flashbacks of yesterday. In an instant, I was on my feet and scrambling toward the front of the cell I was locked in. I wanted to use my wolf power to break away the bars but who was I kidding? When my hands flew and gripped the bars, I jerked back and hissed in pain. The fucking bars were made of silver, in case any powerful captor tried to break them apart. At that moment, I realized who I was actually fighting against. Alpha Ethan did not only have power but also a mastermind to plan out all the cunning techniques.Sitting there on the ground, I kept waiting for any living soul to enter the dungeons. Surprisingly, the sunlight dimmed down to the

Delilah's POV:A smirk crept over his lips in the dark, "Despite a bunch of disadvantages, there is always one benefit of being an Omega." Creaking the door open, he winked at me, "No one suspects you of anything. They all think an Omega is too dumb or coward to stir trouble."My chin wobbled and I rushed forward to hug him tightly, "Oh, Dorian. Thank you so much for coming for me. I just thought..." My throat clogged at the horrible things that were about to happen to me.He wrapped his arms around my frame, "Of course, Delilah. You are the only friend I ever had. I can't even think to leave you alone in this hell."Breaking the hug, I wiped the tears away, "What now? What are we going to do now?"Crouching down, he placed his backpack on the floor and unzipped it, "Now we are going to get away from here."I looked closely as he fished out two heavy-duty gas masks. Thrusting the one in front of me, he instructed me, "Put it on. And be careful. It must be covering your eyes, nose, and

Delilah's POV: Turning around, I sprinted through the woods and pondered over what to do next. Should I go to the police? Even the thought was laughable. Should I go to the Supernatural Council? But I had no address or number. Should I go to Bianca and tell her that her mate is in danger? But the way she treated Dorian made me doubt if she would even care. I was on the verge of going mad. Never before in my life had I felt so helpless. I despised myself for leaving Dorian alone with those bloodthirsty monsters. Wiping away the angry tears, I turned toward the human residential area and entered the first mart my eyes landed on. I went straight to the counter and rushed out, "Can I make a phone call, please? It's urgent." Maybe it was my condition or desperation but the lady nodded hastily before turning the phone in my direction. I dialed the only person left who would never be deterred from helping me and waited impatiently. The lady walked away in order to give me some privacy and
