"This is where you will sleep," Lily pointed to the left side of her bed. She had already placed a pillow in the middle where she had drawn the line. Then, referring to the left-right side, she said, "And this is my side of the bed." Lily stared into Lucas' eyes and swore they tightened after her suggestion. She asked, "Any objections?" Lifting his chin, Lucas said, "I supposed it's better than nothing." "That's a good way to look at it," Lily said. She looked at the bed and suggested, "Now, go ahead, climb up the bed and sleep." "You go first," Lucas proposed. "No, you go first," Lily urged. Thankfully, Lucas gave up and did as she indicated. He lay down on his side and pulled the blanket over his stomach. Then he tapped her side of the bed and said, "Your turn, sweetheart." "I'm warning you. Don't try anything you will regret," Lily said. She placed her hands on her waist and glared at Lucas.
