Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Billionaire's Abandoned Wife is an Heiress: Kabanata 201 - Kabanata 210

“I’m not jealous!” Margaux reiterated. But her annoying cousin just chuckled at her. “Really? You wanted to run after them. Had it not been me stopping you, you probably had made a scene that’s worth being on the news right now,” Daisy pointed out. Her knuckles turned white as she could feel her blood was boiling to the peak. She was cursing her cousin in her mind like a sailor and she swore the woman would not hear the end of it once they got alone. ‘She didn’t have to say that in front of Hendrix!’ she hissed inwardly. ‘What is she trying to get from embarrassing her like that?!’ he gnashed her teeth. “Look at you ready to go as soon as he comes to our table and tell her they should go..” her cousin continued. “Stop. Let’s not talk about that here,” she said through gritted teeth. Daisy raised an eyebrow, “Why?” She glared at her. She had no idea what Daisy was trying to prove, but she was really testing her patience. The only thing that was keeping her from snapping was the

Margaux’s eyebrows furrowed as she stopped and looked at the guard. “Come again?” she queried. “A truck of roses has been delivered to you, Miss Margaux,” the security guard repeated. Her jaw clenched. Although she should be flattered to receive such things, she couldn’t help but be annoyed because she was never fond of extravagant gifts despite her social status. “From whom?” she inquired. However, before the guard could answer her, someone suddenly appeared behind him and answered instead. “It’s from me,” Josh said. He was smiling wildly at her while carrying a huge bouquet of roses in different colors. It was not the first time that he gave her one if she remembered correctly but the situation now was different. And it was just a normal bouquet then, not a truck nor not even that huge one that he was holding. “For you..” he handed it to her. She stood there immobile and just stared at the flowers. She was thinking whether to take it or not as she did not understand what it

“This is not a hunch, this is the truth,” Daisy continued. “She won’t be mad like that if she was not affected by your act earlier. And she wouldn’t feel that way if she didn’t care..”Hendrix didn’t know what to react. He did not expect that coming at all. Pursing his lips, his eyes went back outside the window as his mind flew somewhere. ‘Margaux still has feelings for me?’ he thought. His chest stammered as his heart was jumping in delight. It uplifted his mood in an instant and suddenly, all his lost hope came back like a newborn baby who just came out of the womb. “Even though I just said that she changed a lot, she’s still the cousin that grew up with me. I may not have predicted her outburst but I can certainly understand the reason for it..” Daisy said. He wasn’t listening anymore. His mind had gone out, wandering somewhere and not caring for other things any longer as he could only think of how he could talk to Margaux again and try to convince her to cancel the wedding

Margaux tapped the steering wheel with her fingers. The car was already parked in front of Liana’s hotel. She even got angry at Daisy for choosing that place earlier, but after her cousin explained that it was the safest place to meet with the person hiding from the authorities, her anger subsided a little. But still she was annoyed. She had been sitting there inside her unmoving car for five minutes already but she felt like stepping out of it was hard. She suddenly questioned herself what she was doing there as she didn’t know what came up to her and just agreed with her cousin’s ridiculous idea. ‘Did Daisy learn some voodoo tricks?’ she asked herself. That woman was seriously good at manipulating people to do what she wanted and it was a little terrifying as she thought about it now. She said it before that Daisy can make a living for it and she had just proved it to her at that moment. Letting out an exasperated sigh, she finally unlocked the door and was about to open it.

She had no idea since when did she became comfortable with him. Because as far as she knew, her body immediately reacted violently whenever he touched her, even just the tip of her hair. But that moment seemed different. It was weird that even though her body froze, it was only because she was surprised at the sudden touch. “Are you two finally reconciled?” Leila inquired with her eyes not leaving his hand securely holding her tiny waist. “This can’t be..” she then mumbled while shaking her head profusely. Margaux wanted to remove his hand but upon seeing the woman’s reaction, she decided against it and just kept her arms folded and unmoving. “Let’s go,” Hendrix suddenly whispered to her ears. She was expecting the guy to tell her off like what he did to Liana before, but it didn’t come and instead, she found herself being dragged by him towards the elevator. “Where are you taking me?” she hissed as she struggled to get inside the lift. “Let me go!” she exclaimed, not caring i
