REJECTED, NOW DESIRED のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 131 - チャプター 140

EDNA POVImmediately my mate mind-linked me, I knew I needed to do something to help him.He didn't tell me what was going on, but he was my mate. I could feel his anger, his fear, and all his emotions. Apart from that, my senses had become sharper since I met Seraphina, meaning I could already see through him.I knew he didn't just disappear for no reason; he was going to investigate an invasion by the black witches. Though I wasn't sure where exactly.By the way, I had called Seraphina, or my mother, a while ago, and she said she was already on her way and that Ansel had already called her. I just smiled at that. Ansel was so sweet to handle everything for me despite the fact that we had planned for me to call Seraphina while he dealt with the warriors.By the way, it was hard for me to call Seraphina ‘mother.’ I didn't know why, but maybe it was because she had not been in my life all those years. I had been all by myself and had gotten used to it.I quickly rushed towards the dung

As Seraphina and I stood in the dim room, the air thick with anticipation, I turned to her, my confusion evident. “Why are they calling you ‘sister’? Do you know them?” I repeated the same question subconsciously.Seraphina smiled gently, her eyes softening at me, “Edna, that's just how witches refer to each other. It's a term of kinship, not necessarily a familial connection. I don't know them but all witches are sisters.”"No! You shouldn't tell her about us! She is the enemy of the witches!" The two invisible witches in the room blurted out but my mother didn't stop.Their words made me feel bad because I was both a witch and a wolf but I didn't dwell on that. What I wanted right now was information to help my mate, nothing else.In fact, I shouldn't care about killers like them.I felt a wave of relief wash over me. “So, it doesn't mean you're related to them?” I asked after pushing back my thoughts and coming to reality.“No, it doesn’t. It’s a way of acknowledging our shared nat

THIRD PERSON POV Ansel and Amos moved swiftly through the dense forest, their powerful legs propelling them forward as they leapt over fallen trees and navigated the rugged terrain. Their wolves had taken over and they were like beasts now, very huge and powerful with furs all over their bodies and claw-like fingers. The night air was thick with tension, and the moon cast an eerie glow on their path and on their wolf nature, causing them to be more powerful than before. After all, wolves were creatures we depended mostly on the moon to give them strength. Ansel’s mind was a storm of rage and sorrow, the news of the slaughter weighing heavily on his heart. The black witches had gone too far. How could they so heartless to kill over twenty wolves? That was mass murder and Ansel as the King of wolves, he needed to act swift. Or else, his people would suffer the consequences. When they finally reached the village, the scene that greeted them was one of unspeakable horror. The onc

Ansel tenderly tucked a loose strand of hair behind Edna's ear, his touch gentle and reassuring. "I’m ready for the war," he murmured, his voice steady and confident. "Especially after what I have witnessed today, it's high time I do anything to avenge the wolves that lost their lives and also to stop this ones and for all."He then softened his gaze at her and added, "Thank you for trying to get information from those witches. I didn't expect you would do that alone to help me."Edna looked away, her shoulders slumping slightly. "I wish I could have gotten more. We need every advantage we can get."Ansel shook his head, lifting her chin so she would meet his eyes carefully. "What you found out is enough. You’re the most hardworking Luna this pack has ever had. The most courageous queen of Titanic Wave. And the first to be its queen, what else could I ask for feom the goddess? I have everything in you."A faint smile touched Edna's lips, though it didn't quite reach her eyes. "You’re

Edna's hands trembled slightly as she tightened the last strap of her armour. The preparations had been very tiresome to both of them, leaving her no time to question Ansel about the unfamiliar figures who had arrived earlier. Now, as everything was done, curiosity gnawed at her and she couldn't be silent anymore. She moved quietly through the hall towards her mate, Ansel, her mind focused on the impending battle but unable to shake her curiosity. Ansel was conferring with a group of warriors when she approached him. She leaned in close, her voice a soft whisper."Ansel, who were those two men and the woman with King Roshan earlier?"Ansel's eyes widened momentarily in realisation. He turned to her, a sheepish smile on his lips. "I am sorry, my love. I should have introduced them to you. Ooh no, why have I forgotten to do that and you are the qeen of wolves? You should be aware of who they are." He raised his voice, catching the attention of the mysterious guests."STEVE?" Ansel cal
