(Alexander’s POV)It had been a week since Kael left, and the peace that followed was almost unsettling. The mansion was calm, but I couldn’t shake the unease that gnawed at me from within. Sitting alone in my office, papers and maps scattered in front of me, he leaned back in my chair, my fingers tapping rhythmically on the armrest. My mind kept circling back to Daimon.‘What was he up to? After his brutal attack on the four packs, Daimon had gone quiet…Too quiet. It wasn’t like him to retreat without a clear reason, especially after making such a grand, violent entrance’. I had been preparing my pack for anything, staying alert, but there had been no sign of Daimon.I clenched my  jaw, frustrated by the silence. My mind was sha

(Alexander’s POV)The battlefield, once filled with chaos and fury, was now eerily silent. The air was thick with tension, and my wolf, bruised and bloodied, staggered to his feet, his golden eyes locked onto Evelyn’s unconscious form lying on the ground. My heart clenched at the sight of her motionless body, her ethereal glow dimmed. With a pained growl, I forced my wolf to transform back into human form. The process was excruciating, my body protested every movement but I pushed through, driven by the sight of my mate. My breaths were ragged, legs trembling as I stumbled toward Evelyn.Falling to my knees beside her, I cradled her delicate frame in my arms. Her face was pale, her chest rising and falling shallowly. Panic surged through me as I gently brushed her hair away from her face.

(Evelyn’s POV)The next morning, I insisted on joining everyone in the living room despite Alex's protests."You need to rest, Evelyn" Alex said for the fifth time as I stood near the door."I've rested enough," I replied firmly, but with a warm smile. "I want to see everyone. Please, Alex” He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Fine. But the moment you feel tired, we’re coming back to the room” I chuckled, leaning up to kiss his cheek. "Deal!”We entered the living room to the sight of our family and pack members chatting and laughing. Ashley and Alaina immediately ran to me, wrapp

(Author’s POV)The dimly lit study of the pack house was alive with energy and purpose as Veronica, Kael, and Leira gathered around an ancient map of the supernatural realms. The scent of aged parchment and flickering candlelight filled the room, creating an atmosphere of mysticism and urgency.Leira, her radiant aura casting a soft glow on the walls, traced her fingers over the map's intricate details. "The Guardians won’t be easy to locate," she said, her voice calm yet determined. "They were scattered across realms by design, hidden to protect the balance until a time like this” Kael leaned against the table, his sharp eyes scanning the map. "But they’re not just hiding, are they?

(Author’s POV)The air was thick with tension as Valen’s vampire convent entered the borders of Alex’s territory. The wolves patrolling the area stiffened, their eyes fixed warily on the approaching figures. Even though they had been briefed about the alliance, the sight of vampires…natural rivals to werewolves walking through their land was an unsettling one.For the first time in history, vampires and werewolves were not on opposing sides but were preparing to stand together against a common enemy. At the forefront of the group was Valen, a striking figure with sharp features and an air of command. Beside him walked two identical twin vampires, their aura just as imposing but with a hint of mischief in their gazes. Behind them trailed the rest of the convent, all of them moving with a grac
