Accidentally In His Bed のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

“He will be alright won’t he?” Tally turned tearful eyes on the stranger. It was then she noticed the person beside her who had been supporting her this whole time was a female paramedic. Tally finally allowed her to lead her to the back of another ambulance. Positioned further back than the one that had taken Ryan. Tally looked down the road where the ambulance that was carrying Ryan had gone.“I can’t tell you, honey. I was with you the whole time. I can’t tell you anything about his condition. That’s for the doctors at the hospital to determine. But we’re doing everything we can to give him the best chance,” the female paramedic reassured Tally. Another paramedic joined them. Tally thought he must be the other one assigned to this ambulance.Tally sat down on the back of the ambulance, feeling exhaustion wash over her. The paramedics began to assess her, checking her vital signs. Then checked her out for seat belt injuries. They asked her questions about her well-being, Tally answer

Tally made her way back to Ryan’s room. She sat down with Brenda on the lounge chair near the window. Paul was reading to Ryan by his bedside. She couldn’t help but reflect on Noah’s cold response to her call. Granted, he hadn’t known it was her. But for him to answer the phone like that, thinking it was his wife, April. Tally pushed those thoughts aside for now, reminding herself that her priority was to be there for Ryan and support him in any way she could.Just as Tally was bringing herself back to the present, Noah entered the hospital room, his face filled with worry and concern. Tally could see the tension in his eyes, and she knew that he was deeply affected by the news of Ryan’s accident.Noah rushed to Tally’s side, embracing her tightly. “Thank you for letting me know, Tally,” he whispered, his voice filled with genuine concern. “Is there any update on Ryan’s condition?”Tally shook her head, her voice trembling slightly. “Not yet, Noah. The doctors are doing everything they

Tally woke alone in a hospital bed. Confused and disoriented, she looked around the sterile hospital room. Then it all came back to her, the events leading up to her fainting spell. “Oh, my god. Please god, please don’t let it be a miscarriage.” The life inside her had been the one thing she could hold on to right now.As she lay there, the weight of the situation settled heavily on her shoulders once again. The thought of Ryan not remembering her, and now their unborn child, was almost unbearable. She felt a mix of fear, sadness, and hopelessness wash over her.Suddenly, the door to her room opened, and Doctor Monroe walked in. His calm presence brought a small sense of relief to Tally. He greeted her with a warm smile and sat down beside her bed.“How are you feeling?” he asked, concern evident in his voice.Tally answered honestly. “I’m scared.”The doctor nodded empathetically. “I won’t keep you waiting. Your baby is fine. But you are under a lot of stress and I would like you to s

Ryan sat in the hospital bed, his eyes fixed on the door through which Tally had just exited the room. She hadn’t even bothered to turn around when he had called her name, instead muttering “Asshole” under her breath as she left. If she was attempting to impress him or prove Ashley’s claims false, she was failing miserably and doing a piss-poor job. A wry smile tugged at one corner of his mouth. He didn’t know if she was playing a smart game or not.Just as he anticipated his wife’s return, the door swung open. But it wasn’t Tally standing there. Instead, a hospital employee entered, carrying his less-than-appetizing lunch. Despite being in a private room, the quality of the hospital food sucked. The lady placed it on his table. “Thank you.” He said as she turned to leave the room.If he was being honest with himself, he was a little disappointed that Tally had left. Ryan wondered if that was a point in her favor.Ryan absentmindedly touched the bandage on his head. The thing was, he d

It was only the next day they were to venture into the office. Ryan had offered to drive her. Tally had shaken her head. “We don’t do that.”He lifted an eyebrow at her. “Why?”“Because no one at the office knows about us being married.” Tally let him know, looking down at his hands.“Tally, look at me.” When she lifted his head. “Why?” he was suspicious of the fact that he had chosen not to tell anyone.Tally could see the look in his eyes. “It wasn’t your idea, but mine.”Ryan was surprised by this. “Then again, why?”Tally felt uncomfortable telling him the next bit. The old Ryan had known her history. This Ryan, with his missing memories, didn’t and he could see it in a different light now. “I was engaged just before we got married.”“Let me guess, I was the better catch, so when you saw your chance, you jumped at it.” Ryan's tone was cold again.“Not so you would guess, you arrogant ass. Get over yourself. The person you are now, I wouldn’t have picked you in a pink fit. See you a
