Lahat ng Kabanata ng An Alpha’s Loss, Another’s Gain: Kabanata 91 - Kabanata 100

Alpha Farrell’s PovI knew a storm was gathering. Not just the rain clouds that gather overhead in my pack. It was more like a feeling Aiden had warned me about. I did not want to take my chance with my people’s safety, mobilizing my men in the most minute form so as not to garner attention from the public.“You knock sometimes when you go to someone’s house. Not just disappear inside it like you are a part of their family,” I said as my coat flapped in the wind.A lady walked next to me, her black silky hair flowing with the wind like my coat, with a smile on her face. “You always know when I’m around. I don’t think there was a reason to let you know about it,” she said, placing her hands in front of her white dress to stop the wind from whipping it around.“In as much as you are a seer, Elsa. You are as much a member of my pack as everyone here, and I believe you have to abide by its rules,” I said, placing my hands into my pockets. A waft of cold air and water splashed across my fa

Alpha Farrell’s Pov The blaring of the Pack's siren jolted me awake. The blaring of the siren was meant to inform everyone of an immediate threat. I sprang out of bed and was halfway to the door when it swung open, and Aiden walked in."What's happening?" I asked, even though I already had a gut feeling about what it was about."We're under attack," Aiden replied. “How did they find us?” I asked in disbelief. I knew war was brewing, but I never expected them to find us so soon to even catch us off guard."I have no idea," Aiden responded, as we both made our way out of my room. "Intel from the front says we lost most of our patrols on those sides.""Damn it," I muttered under my breath. "This isn't looking good."As soon as we stepped out of my quarters, Melissa and the boys came into view. They seemed to be heading towards my quarters."He came," Melissa said, her face etched with worry, and drew the boys closer to her."It doesn’t matter if he came or not, Melissa," I told her. "

Alfredo’s Pov News from the front lines sounded better. Alpha Brian was at an all-time high as he boasted about how easy it was for him to rip through the patrol he had encountered on the first day.I laughed at the thought of it. That was exactly the plan. First, he sneaked into place, killing as many patrols as they could until they were in the territory proper. We had agreed with what Claire chose, sending more than half of my men with Alpha Brian while some remained at my home just in case Alpha Farrell had other thoughts. My face was also necessary for him to think all of us were present in that position, as multiple breaches would mean there was a rat, and that was not what we wanted.“Aren’t you joining the battle?” Mr Peter said as he moved into my tent. He was the only elder present because some were either too old or the younger ones were already on the battlefield, aiming to create a name for themselves.“I will join you soon,” I said as I pushed myself to my feet. The sm

Alpha Farrell’s Pov “We have intel about the attackers,” Aiden said as he walked towards me, holding a tablet in his hands. His hands continued their work, typing things I could not see.The enemies, we knew them already. It would not be a different person.“Alpha Brian is the one leading the charge,” Aiden said as he raised his head to look at me.I could feel Ora’s indignation even before he spoke. “Let’s go to end this fight before it gets worse.”It was going to get worse for the enemies, but I had promised myself something and I wanted to keep to that promise. “We would try to face him in the fight and end all of this as peacefully as we can.”“I don’t think he'll want to do the same,” Aiden said. “He inherited the hatred from Alfredo, and we know the type of person alpha Brian is,” he pointed out.He was right in some kind of way. We kept tabs of every Alpha in the six known packs of our werewolf community, and his name stood out. Although not as my predecessors. His coming i

Claire’s PovI held my hand to my forehead as I paced the room. It was obvious as I turned on the television. Every report was on the ongoing war with Lockhart pack. Alpha Brian had promised us a victory, assured us with the strength of his pack, but it looked like they were on the losing end.Alpha Farrell had taken the opportunity, moving towards his pack after destroying him and his men first, tearing through him like someone would tear through paper.“Calm down,” Anya said, as she noticed I was hyperventilating.“How do you expect me to calm down when everything we planned is going down the drain?” I retorted as I pointed to the television. "Every fucking thing!"The war was over like the supposed combined might of Lockhart pack and Silver rose never existed. There was no way she was going to remain one day in this pack. I blew hot as I picked up my phone, setting it to privacy mode before dialing the only number on the phone.“What’s happening? This is not what we intended,” my v
