Cade When we entered Mark and Helen's makeshift shelter. I looked down at the ground to see them both still sleeping. There were clothes spewed all over the makeshift shelter. I knew what they had been doing before they fell asleep. But why were they still asleep. I kicked Mark's leg. He moved and groaned a bit, turning over. I looked at Kaya. She began to chuckle at the scene. Did she know what caused this? "Do you know what happened to them?" "Yeah, potato juice." "What." "We collect many wild potatoes during the summer and distill it. So, they got drunk off the stuff; it is strong. Also, I would bet they had some sheesh." "What is that." "It is an herb we like to smoke. It makes you euphoric." I looked at the two passed-out people. They had to get up. I bent down and began to shake Mark. He finally began to stir. "What?" He groaned. "Mark?" Hearing that it was me, he sat right up. "Alpha." "Calm down Mark. I am here to get you and Helen up. Get dressed; we will grab some food.

Kaya We spent the remainder of the evening just relaxing. We had caribou again for dinner. Afterwards, we all sat around the fire. "Quill, hand me the pipe."He passed me the pipe that was already packed with Sheese. I took a few puffs. I looked at Cade and offered him the pipe. He took it and began to also puff on it. He then passed it on. He looked at me so I could see his lips. "That is fantastic." I knew he would like it. It was relaxing. We stayed by the fire a bit longer when we retired for the night. I walked back with him to the tent we had set up earlier. When we got in, I turned to face him and began to kiss him. We started to remove our clothes. It didn't take long for us to be wrapped up in each other. After we were lying there on the furs. Cade mind-linked me. "Can you always hear everyone?" "Well, I can't hear anyone." I laughed. "But I assume you hear people having sex. We live in handmade tents. They aren't exactly soundproof." "I guess you're right. Was it weird

Kaya It has been a long day. I was nervous about going to a new place. It was not like when I went down south with my brother. That was only a two-day thing. This was forever. This was to be my new home. Cade was driving the truck, and Helen and Mark were asleep in the back seat of the cabin. Cade mind-linked me. "We will be there soon." I didn't respond. I was nervous beyond belief. How was I supposed to lead a pack with Cade? I was not from an alpha bloodline. I was just a normal wolf. What qualified me to lead? There was nothing extraordinary about me. "Are you okay?" "I am nervous." "No reason to be; they will love you." "And how do you know that. I am an outsider." "You are not an outsider." "Yes, I am. And what do I know about southern packs? I know nothing." "You will learn." "And what if they don't like me?" "They will like you just fine." "And how do you know?" "Because I have heard so. Everyone is excited to be getting a Luna." "But I don't know how to be a Luna. I have

Kaya I woke up in the middle of the night. The bed was too soft. Just like it had been when I had stayed at the hotel with Quill. I got out of bed, looked over, and saw that Cade was still asleep. I just didn't feel comfortable in this bed. I wanted to make my den. It may make me more comfortable. I knew I should have made it before we fell asleep. I would need to explain the den thing to Cade when he woke up because I couldn't have people coming into it without being invited. I knew I would be territorial over it. Not to mention, I didn't want other scents in the den, so no one would be allowed to clean in here. I looked over at Cade. I loved that Cade was next to me; that comforted me. I contemplated going outside and building a fire, and sleeping out there. But I knew it would be best to stay in the room. I would not be comfortable sleeping away from him, not that the bond had been established. I walked over to the furniture in the large room. I grabbed the blanket that was

Kaya It took about half an hour, but we finally reached a huge store. When we got out, I read that it said Target. We walked in, and I was immediately overwhelmed. Helen mind linked me. "Okay, so we are going to get all the essentials here: toothbrush, loofas, that kind of thing, plus some shoes so you won't be stuck in flip flops." I looked and saw lots of clothes as we walked. It didn't make sense. How could we find it all here? "Will we get everything here?" "No, just the basics; they have a big selection, but the quality is better at other stores. "I didn't understand, but I figured Helen knew best about this. We started down an aisle. It had tons of things I had never seen. "Let's start with a razor." "Razor, what for?" "Yeah, to cut your leg hair, shave down south, you know." "Why do you need a razor? I don't grow hair in those places." "What." "We in the north only grow hair on our heads and eyebrows." "That is convenient. You won't need that, then. Do the men not grow hair
