Everest“Would he like to settle down for less?” I asked myself. I'm sure he wouldn't. I was nothing but an orphan, I had no one. No Roots. Everything about me was indeed very useless. With these countless thoughts I had to say I felt so scared at the moment. I just wished 8 had the power to change fate. I'm sure I would have done things differently. I would have chosen a different life and I would definitely be a better person. My skills would be top notch and I would've been respected by everyone. I would be like Adrienne, so calm and humble not a tyrant ruler like Alice, who feels she can control the world. I wonder if she is happy now? Who knows they might have declared her as the winner when I left without any reward. Whatever it was, I didn't care. I just couldn't fall there in the midst of a lot of people. I had to protect myself and then my child as well.Either attending classes or practicing one thing or the other. It had been very uneasy for me most especially with my cond

EverestI became furious at the mere suggestion of being taken to the royal physician, I immediately sought to free myself from his grip. "Release me! I see no need for a physician, can't you understand that?" I shouted assertively. There was absolutely no reason for me to subject myself to such an unnecessary visit. He was clearly overstepping his boundaries. In a firm and unwavering tone, I assured him, "I am perfectly fine, trust me." I made every effort to convince him that there was no cause for concern, determined to avoid seeing the physician at all costs.Yet, he stubbornly clung onto me, forcibly dragging me against my will. "Listen closely, if you truly believe you're fine, then let the physician confirm it. It is non-negotiable that you go see the royal physician," he proclaimed, exerting even more strength to keep me in check. What is with this attitude of yours, huh? Why are you being so stubborn? If I visit the physician, I may not leave alive. Do you understand that? I

Everest"Why are you looking for them?" I asked. She frowned, "Haven't you noticed that since we entered the hospital, everyone was bowing their heads to us? It could be that royalty was walking behind us. " She explained. Now I understood what she was trying to say. I chuckled, how can I forget this fact? She had no idea who I was. They were bowing to me as a sign of respect. "Have you forgotten so soon, you had won the duel. Even though you had run away before you were declared the winner, you are still the winner. So they are bowing to you." I lied. She looked at me with an awkward smile, “This can't be, is that what goes on here?” She asked.I chuckled, it seems that little things could easily distract her. She had forgotten all about going to meet the doctor. I held her hands tightly, so she wouldn't escape. “Let's work ahead, you would confirm if it's true or not.“The further we moved ahead, everyone who saw us bowed. I could see the smile on her face but when we got to the doc

FinnI couldn't get off the fact that Everest was pregnant. My instincts were always right. I guess I was right all along when I noticed she had been preventing her belly from being injured when she had toDeep down I was tense and worried at the same time. Why would she lie about something very important to an extent she would hide it away from me. My own child as a matter of fact? I wondered. It baffles me a lot.I thought of lots of things that could be a reason for her denial but I couldn't figure it out. It hurts me to think that Everest must have lost her trust in me. If she had trusted me, she wouldn't have looked me in the eyes and denied me of my child. "You don't have to be sad knowing fully well that the child belongs to you," My wolf started.I sighed" it is far more to that. I am only sad because I feel Everest doesn't want me to know about the child. Why the hell would she do that? Why would she deny my child telling me to my face?" I questioned."You have to calm down

Finn"Finally, the day has come." I said, in happiness.I got so nervous and curious that I changed my clothing several times just to ensure I look as charming and cute as I have always been. But this time, I want to look different from how I used to.When I finally selected what to put on, I invited a hair stylist that would make me look cute and handsome. While I admired myself in the mirror, Mother walked in and complimented me with a smile.I smiled Likewise, "Thank you so much mother," I appreciated it.Mother moved closer, taking a good look at me" You seemed happy in a different way. Tell me what is making you so excited" she said.I chuckled "It's nothing serious mother. I'm happy to see myself looking so good" I replied."Finally, you would be introduced to everyone" she said with a smile, assisting me with the principal cloak.I sat down facing the mirror as my mother placed her hands on my face "You look totally different in this attire. But why didn't you show yourself to

FinnI was properly introduced to everyone, they were all shocked and exclaimed when they saw me.Deep within me I was happy and had laughed from seeing the faces of everyone. It was a good thing I showed up at that point in time. I was able to give the punishment to those who deserved it.My father's Right hand man directed me to the seat they had prepared for me as the principal. But before going to take a seat, the whole audience stood up to pay respect to me.They bowed their heads and saluted, "Good day principal," they greeted.I raised my hands with a smile on my face" Greetings to you all." I replied. The officer came closer and stood beside me, placing his mouth beside my ears."Your highness, would you like to say some words to them?" My king's right hand man asked. I thought of it as a very good idea to say a few words to them.I shook my head. '' Yes" I replied."Alright everyone, the principal has some words he would like to say to us," he announced.I took a look at eve

EverestI was so shocked and surprised when I got to know that the so called stranger was the principal. How on Earth could it be? How could he be the principal and react in such a manner that could be impossible to believe? I wondered. A Lot of thoughts go through my mind. I felt ashamed that I wouldn't want to meet him face to face. What then do I do when he shows up right in front of me? I took a deep breath to calm my nerves a bit.I recalled the moment we spent together. They were indeed a memorable one. How could I possibly look him in the eyes like I used to? Knowing fully well that he is the principal? My heart beats continuously.I couldn't control the way I felt. I was troubled and shocked at the same time. Whenever I think of how we first met, I feel embarrassed.I couldn't think straight nor could I get my mind off it. While we all gathered at first, I wondered what the gathering was all about. All of a sudden he appeared from the middle of nowhere. The process at which

Everest"Thank You, Elena," I cooed in appreciation.Just when I appreciated it, I heard the sound of the door and immediately, the door opened wide.My heart skipped at once. Then I realised it was Alice."Elena, who is Elena?" Alice questioned, raising her brows at me.My heart raced heavily as a result of how she startled me. At that point I was speechless."Why would you barge into my dorm in such a manner?" I questioned.Alice walked in majestically even without me giving her the go ahead to come in." Don't even try to change the topic. I asked you a question, answer me!" She yelled at the top of her voice.I cleared my throat." What right do you think you have to raise your voice at me? Listen to me, you have no right to ask me questions" I glared at her.Alice bursts into laughter," Wow! Just wow! I can see you've changed. You now have the confidence to challenge me even to the point that you now look me in the eyes" She applauded as she made a mockery laughter. Just when she i

EverestAlice was indeed the princess of stubbornness, if there was really a kingdom with such a title, she would be chosen as Queen. Even after pushing her out of my room, she forced her way back in. At this point I was already so exhausted. She really had a way of creating unnecessary scenes. I could clearly tell she was gnashing her teeth in anger. But even at that she was still beautiful. "You don't push me out against my will. Listen to me again, what's your name again?" She sneered. I maintained silence, I wasn't in for this. "I don't know how much you must have given the principal or how callous and cheap you were to give yourself to him but trust me, you wouldn't succeed in your attempts. Trust me, I would make sure of that. You see this Alpha princess over here, I would be just like a bone stuck to your throat. I would choke you to death." She said with a resolute tune. Her warnings sounded like empty threats. I wasn't threatened by her words, yes, then, her insults and ac

Everest"Something like what?"I moved an inch away from her, I knew she could hit me for what I'm about to say. "Like a break up with the prince, this is really unlike you. You're sounding too nice." She punched my arm with her elbow, "Ouch! What was that for?" I said pouting. The hit was so painful, I rubbed the spot to ease the pain. "What do you mean by being so nice? I was never wicked to you was I?" She glared angrily at me. "You just want to ruin my mood, you don't like the fact that I'm being so good. There's nothing like a break up, so swallow those words of yours and focus on your stay here." She sighed. "When I first found out that I was going to have a sister, I felt great. The thought of having one sounded fun but later my mother explained things to me. I could see the pain in her eyes and this broke me." She continued. I stayed silent listening to her, I could tell that she still had more to say. "Since you brought her so much pain, I gradually developed a dislike for y
