 Dean rubbed his eyes and the free hand patted the other side of the bed, his sleepiness gone in an instant when he felt the other side was empty. He got up feeling disoriented, he looked around the room then he remembered he was still in a hotel room where he is staying for two days, then realization struck him, he was still on a business trip.  "Haa! What a dream," he mumbles. He ruffled his own hair in frustration.  "I miss my bun." Dean was now completely awake, he then checked the time. Just as planned, Mia celebrated her birthday at her grandparents' house. Everyone was present ‘coz they couldn’t afford to miss their princess’ birthday. Even though Mia was just adopted, still the Kings and the Williams spoils her so much that sometimes Sean would and Dean threatened them that they wouldn’t see their granddaughter if they won’t stop. They would stop, yes, but then do it again after just a few days.  Mia jumps with joy when she sees her cake.  “Thank you, Dada. Thank you, Daddy!”  “You’re welcome, princess, but you should thank your aunt Wendy. She made it herself.” Sean replied while smiling at his daughter, eyes forming a line as he did so. 

Dean was taken back with his husband’s sudden outburst. Sean wasn’t the type that would easily get jealous especially with women ‘coz he knows he had zero interest with them. “Who was that woman, Dean King? Are you cheating on me? Have you gotten tired of me ‘coz I can’t give you your own child that only a woman can?”  “Wh-what? No, of course not, hon. I’d rather die alone in a mountain than be with someone that is not you. I’d rather adopt every child in the world than have a child with another person that is not also you. “Hi, hon. I’m home" Dean announces when he enters their room. Sean was sitting on the bed, reading a book while his back was leaning on the headrest. Dean went to his husband and was about to give him a kiss when Sean yanked his face away. “Eeeeewwwww… you smell gross. Stay away from me.” Sean complains while covering his nose with his free hand.   Dean sighs and goes to the bathroom instead and takes a shower. When he’s done he puts on a tshirt and comfortable shorts.  Dean sat down on the couch just beside the bed. He was about to browse on his phone when Sean sat on his lap and grabbed his attention. Sean snuggles himself to his husband and sniffs his natural scent. He didn’t like Dean’s smell earlier because

Dean and Sean stayed and spent all day in their room, cuddling each other. During lunchtime, Sean refuses to go out to join the family for lunch when he finds out it was Asher who ate the cake he wanted so badly. After lunch, Asher came to check on his brother but was immediately thrown out of his room. He looked so confused while staring at the closed door. He tried to talk with his brother and apologized even when he’s just at the door but was immediately shut by his brother's angry voice, shooing him away. It was already dinner time when they successfully persuade Sean to come out and join them saying it would be the best time to announce the pregnancy as they invited everyone over.  During lunchtime, Dianne couldn’t help but notice her son-in-law looked so pale.
