The three of them had already witnessed Aria summoning Blanc and Noir before, so they did not seem surprised at all. The spirits' eyes lit up with newfound hope when they heard her promise. There was no need for Blanc and Noir to show up for this kind of situation. She only had to call up a couple of Phantom Patrols who could escort these spirits to their reincarnation. Aria's lips barely parted as she spoke the summoning words. Within seconds, a thick wall of fog rolled in from the distance. Two shadowy figures emerged from the fog, each one gripping a soulbreaker rod in their hands. These weapons were specifically designed for dealing with spirits who decided to resist. Any regular arcane priest would have needed to set up an altar, perform complex rituals, prepare expensive offerings, and be respectful when summoning the Phantom Patrols.
