Amelia's pov" Wait up!" Foster's strained voice yelled behind me as he close the door and runs up to catch up with me. He gives me a sheepish smile. " I can't have you walk into the wolves den alone. Not with all of them here."I nod, smiling a bit as I don't bother to knock and opened the door. Instantly I am hit with the scent of alcohol and something else I couldn't put my finger on. The music is louder too and the teenagers around seem so out of it that they don't notice our presence. Which was good." Should we spread out?" Foster suggested as he looked around the room nervously. Spreading out would make us find Pickett faster. " Yes." Foster and I split up and I scan the area. I'm to stay downstairs while he searches for her upstairs. The scene around me is nothing but a blur of neon lights, staggering teenagers who laughed way too loud and pounding music that makes me regret not bringing something to block my poor eardrums.I moved deeper into the house, keeping my eyes traine

Amelia's pov"Where were you?" I asked Foster as I settle beside Pickett in the backseat. She wanted me there with her, scared of being alone. I held her tight as she trembles and sniffles."Those bastards locked me in the bathroom when I saw Pickett." He ground out, the tension in his voice telling me that he was very upset." I told you to call me right away if you found her Foster." I sighed, rubbing my hand down Pickett's arm to warm her up."I couldn't, they took my phone and didn't give it back." He slammed his hand on his horn and it blared, making a very wild Pickett jump. I grab her, reminding her that she was out of the water and was okay."I'll get the phone back tomorrow, let's get Pickett home." I whispered. Foster nodded and started the car and Pickett clung to me like I was her lifeline. I couldn't help but be filled with rage as I remember what happened.Dayna was a bitch but I hadn't thought she'd go this low. Something could have gone terribly wrong tonight. And Raid

Amelia's povIt's lunch time and Foster and I were on the line waiting to get our trays filled when I spotted a familiar head.My grip on the tray turned brutal as I glared at him and then I saw her, her arms around his, her body plastered so close as they walked toward the lunch table set in the middle of the room.Anger surged through me and my grip on the tray become almost lethal. She's giggling, rubbing against his arm, saying something with her mouth. Her actions infuriate me to the point I am blinded by rage."Hey, where are you going?" Foster's surprised voice made me realize that I had given him my tray and was making my way over to the couple. It seems he had noticed my line of vision because he utters the word, shit and fuck. The clatter of trays and chatter of the students around blurs into nothing but silence for me as I focus on the two seated like a king and queen on their throne. The little distance between them irritates me and I grow more vexed when Raiden spots me.

Amelia's povThe first brush of his lips on mine felt so good that my toes curled and my body instantly melt into his. The chaos in my mind quieted down, and the storm disappeared.I should have pushed him away then. But I am rooted, completely under his spell. His hands cup my face, pulling me closer as he tilt his head in a way and pushed his tongue passed his lips to brush between mine. He's asking for entrance to take things further. And I give it to him happily. Spreading my lips and sighing when his tongue pushes into my mouth. He groaned, one of his hand leaving my face to wrap around my waist and pull me even closer while the other slide down my neck to grip it. My heart pound. Tingles race up my spine and spread out my body like a wildfire. He tilted my head back, grunting as his lips rolled against mine in a sweet dance. For once in my life, I give control to someone else, I let him take the reins. Butterflies flap their wings wildly up my ribcage. He pushes me back and my b

Amelia's povI sprinted, my lungs burning, my mind racing just as fast or probably faster than my feet were going. Raiden had ignited a firestorm of chaos within me that made each step I took further away from him, echo into my mind.Shaking off the feeling of his touch, his lips on mine, the taste of his kiss, the taste of him seemed impossible when my lips still tingle at the reminder that he was there, tasting me, taking control of me.Thankfully Raiden doesn't follow after me, doesn't call me either to stop so I am relieved. Until I spot Foster a bit far ahead, he's not running or rushing, he's actually taking his cool time."Foster!" I called after him, running over to him before he could escape me. He stiffens, barely turning to look at me when I stop beside him.I frowned. "I promise you what you saw back there was nothing. It meant nothing."Foster suddenly stopped which caused me to follow suit and stop. I looked at him nervously as his face portrays no emotion. "Meant nothin
