Elliana'S POV I shuffled into the kitchen, rubbing my head and wincing as the light from the sunrise hit my eyes. I opened the cabinet and took out a bottle of pain relief medicine. ELLIANA'S POV I walked out of the bedroom, feeling excited for the day ahead. I knew that I wanted to spend some time with Tom, to really get to know him and enjoy his company. I walked over and sat down next to him. "I'm doing great," I replied, a grin on my face. "And you?" He put down his book, and he looked at me. "How about we take a day trip?" I said, my excitement growing. "We could go to the beach, or we could explore the city. We could do anything you want." He seemed to consider my suggestion, and he nodded. "That sounds great," he said, a look of anticipation in his eyes. "Let's go to the beach. We can pack a picnic and just enjoy the sun and the sand." ELLIANA'S POV The next morning, I woke up overflowing with joy from my mom's suggestion yesterday. It was so heartwarming of her to let me move into Tom's house. It felt like she was reading my mind.
