Hannah's POV “I lied because I love you, Hannah." I froze in his embrace and looked at him in shock. I wanted to say something but my throat was dry. I couldn't speak. Carlos' grip on me tightened. He pressed his body closer to me. I gasped. I could feel... "Hannah, I have had eyes for you for a while. I think you are beautiful and smart and amazing. I wasn't sure about how to get close to you. Olivia was always buzzing around you and I already know she hates me." His head moved closer to mine, my lips were parted as I felt his warm breath on my face. I was certain he was going to kiss me but he just kept his face seductively close, gazing at me passionately with his dark brown eyes. "I knew you were smart, and I thought that if I could get you to tutor me, you could learn to trust me, and I could finally tell you about how I feel. I'm sorry I made up the story about my father and my coach threatening to punish me for my bad grades. On Sunday, before you came, I changed m

A sweet kind of anxiety. I didn't understand any of it.What did he mean by ‘not calling him Sir's? What things did it do to him?“We have a lot to talk about, Hannah, so I'll start with the most obvious.–”His voice became a shade deeper and shivers ran down my spine."–I texted you a question and you failed to answer within the allotted time frame. Think of something else.I closed my eyes and tried to think of something gross, something disgusting, something that wasn't the hot teacher sitting beside me.“Are you alright, Hannah?"“Huh?"I opened my eyes and found him looking at me. My heart jumped into my throat, my face flushed violently and I felt the oxygen in my lungs being sucked out.“Hannah, you are red. Are you alright?"His eyes looked at me and then he turned away and looked back at the road. I felt the tension in me reduce, but I couldn't turn away from him. I loved it, the way he held me and kissed me like I was all his.I picked up the courage and ran my fingers through his silvery blonde hair. It was soft and silky. I was riding on a wave of passion. He grabbed me and pulled me into his lap. Wasn't she going to school today?I knocked on her room door but didn't get a reply.“Olivia?"Still nothing. I placed one ear on the door and listened carefully.A low groaning sound came from inside her room. Was she alright? I heard another muffled voice coming from inside, possibly talking to her room in hush tones.I tried to make out what the voice was saying but I couldn't hear anything. My heart began to skip a beat. Did someone break into the house and try to hurt Olivia?A wave of fear washed through me, leaving goosebumps in its wake. I had to do something.I summoned as much courage as I could muster and opened the door.“Olivia!
