Hannah’s POV

“Thanks, Aunty Molly” I kissed my Aunt on her cheeks and she pulled me into a brief hug before I climbed out of her car.

“Hannah, please don’t let them bully you, fight back.” Her blue eyes were laced with worry as she spoke.

“You shouldn’t be telling me to fight, Aunty Molly. It’s bad.” I chuckled like she had said something funny.

“Hannah! Goodness! If you aren’t going to fight hun, I would so let me know when you need me.” She groaned and started the engine of her Lexus car.

“Bye Hannah.” She drove off while I waved, I will miss her.

I turned around and faced the school, the huge sign carrying the school’s name.

Bellingham High School! I hated this school so much, every corner of the school reminds me of the pain I have had to face and I wanted it over as soon as possible.

My hands tugged on the strap of my bag as I ambled into the school building.

After what had happened last year, I hadn’t made plans of returning to this school but my father didn’t let me transfer to a new school. I just wanted to be done with this year as soon as possible.

As I walked past the noisy school hallway, I felt eyes perking, so much gossip and it made me wonder if they could ever forget about what had happened last year.

“Hi, Hannah.” My head turned to where I had heard my name from. It was Carlos, the school’s best basketball player.

“Uhm, Hi.” I stuttered, what was he doing in front of me? Carlos speaking to me?

“Hi, we had the same classes last semester, I don’t know if you can remember.” His tall 6 ft self stood in front of me making my legs weak, his blonde hair was combed down to his forehead, almost touching his eyes.

“Uh.. yeah!” My legs were shaking like I didn’t own my body. Hell! I knew who he was, I didn’t need his 14 words of introduction, I knew everything there was to know about Carlos.

“Yeah.” He looked at me with his sky blue eyes and I gulped the lump that formed in my throat. Is this it? Did he finally notice me? I need to tell Olivia about this.

“I would have waited to talk to you a little later but I have basketball practice so I think now is the best time.” Could he fucking beat the chase and tell me what he had to say?

“What are you doing talking to my boyfriend?” My focus was on Carols until I felt my hair being yanked from my skull. “Fuckkkk!” I screamed in pain.

“What are you doing with my boyfriend?” I turned around to face Amirah; my biggest bully.

I held her hand as she grabbed my hair to avoid damage to my skull.

“Let go of my hair, Amirah, you’re hurting me.” I tried yanking her hand off me but she was way stronger than me and she gripped my hair even tighter making the students in the hall laugh at me.

“What do you think? That I would let you go close to my man?” She asked, still furiously pulling my hair.

“Stop that, Amirah.” Carlos’s husk voice came a little bit loud above the annoying laughter of the students in the hallway.

“No babe. I need to let her know right now that she’s messing with me.” She insisted and he only sighed, I looked at him, begging him to make her stop but he only sighed.

“Suit yourself Amirah, you’re embarrassing me.” with Carlos’s two hands in his pocket, he walked out leaving me in the hands of his psychopath girlfriend, and the other annoying students. How dare he leave me when he had put me in this mess? He had caused this trouble.

“Do you think this is the werewolf shit you can lie about? Do you know that you are mad?” Amirah’s British accent was so good and her grip on my hair was so tight she yanked it one more time almost bringing me to my knees. I held her hand as I tried to ease the pain a little bit.

“I suggest you let her go.” A voice charged in the hallway and I turned to the voice with tears falling from my eyes. It was Olivia.

“Or else what?” As she asked, Olivia moved in very swift moves, it was like she was the flash, in just a blink of an eye, she was pressing Amirah to a locker and choking her. The students gasped while I stayed on the floor trying to get a grip of myself.

“ I will not have to tell you again, never come close to my best friend.” She growled like she was some sort of animal. What is wrong with Olivia?

“Let her go, Livy .” I interfered, pulling Olivia away from there and dragging her out of the hall to a secluded area.

“You should have let me kill her, Anna. Why do you let her hurt you that way?”

“It’s not her fault..” The glare on Olivia’s face was so visible, she almost sent a slap to my face.

“It was Carlos who walked up to me and he started the conversation but then she came with a fight and he left me,” I explained and she grunted.

“That fool, what did he want?” Olivia’s gray eyes darkened, her hand going to her brown curly hair and wrapping it in a bond in seconds. She pulled her sleeves up.

“I’ll kill him.” As she said this, she began to match out of the place I had drawn her to, the look on her face gave all hint that she could kill and I knew Olivia too well, she’d do something stupid and get us in trouble.
