Susan returned to her apartment, waiting for Devon's instructions. She smiled ear to ear as she stood close to her bed, recalling everything Devon had told her. She had been a Moore all this while, and she didn't know. She had always wanted Devon to be her father since she was a child. She recalled what happened twelve years ago at the old Moore Family home.Twelve Years back, Old More Family Home,Two children were playing in a small room filled with toys."Let's play hide and seek," little Susan said."But we are not done arranging the lego?" replied little Bryce."Well, I am bored. I want to play hide-and-seek," little Susan said, getting up from the floor.Little Susan folded her arms across her chest and frowned. She made a face and twisted her lips."Let's finish arranging the lego and we can play hide-and-seek," little Bryce said."My parents will come pick me up soon, and I won't get to play hide-and-seek," little Susan cried."Okay, I game and we will come back to the room,"

Bryce looked in the direction of Matilda as she walked towards him."I will have my PA send the documents over. You go through them and if you are okay with my offer, we can sign a deal," the man said."Sounds good," Bryce replied and they shook hands."Ah, Mr Williams, nice for you to grace this occasion with your presence," Matilda said and offered her hand to the man Bryce was chatting with earlier."Tilly, Tilly, still young and beautiful," Mr Williams said flirtatiously and planted a kiss on the back of Matilda's hand."Hmm, still haven't changed," Matilda said smiling. "I see you have already met my grandson," she quickly added resting her hand on Bryce's shoulder."Yes, I must say he is a prodigy," Mr Williams said to Matilda like Bryce was not standing there with them."Well, I know you came in late. He is our new Don," Matilda informed him and shifted her gaze to Bryce."Mr Moore, welcome to the family," Mr Williams said, offering Bryce a handshake."Thank you," Bryce appreci

"I must live for my child," Angela thought as the life slowly left her body. With this thought in mind, she stopped struggling despite the pain she was going through. The lady loosened her grip seeing Angela was no longer moving. Angela thought that was it, she was going to let her go but to her surprise, the lady grabbed her neck again and began to squeeze. Angela was getting weak and her eyes felt like they were going to pop out of their socket but she kept thinking about the baby growing inside her belly and kept fighting to stay alive. She remained calm hoping the lady would believe she was dead and let go.The other prisoners were still making noise in their cells as they watched what the lady was doing to Angela. The prison warden was inside his office when he heard a knock. "Come in," the prison warden said.Four tall men strode in, all wearing black suits. The warden raised his head to stare at the men as they walked into his office. Two went towards the left and two went to

Bryce exited the ward feeling downcast inside but outwardly, he kept a composed face. He paid less attention to the environment and didn't bother to even call the doctor."You two come with me and you two stay here and make sure nothing happens to her," Bryce instructed, walking away with two guards following him.He pulled his phone out and made a call to Martin."Martin, get in touch with Zora and give her the address I am sending you. Tell her Angela needs her," Bryce said on the call.He felt Angela would need her friend around her."Yes sir," Martin replied. "Have you found Josephine yet?" Byrce asked seeing it's been close to two hours since he last called Martin."No, sir," Martin replied. "I am still searching," he added."Keep me updated," Bryce said.Once he ended the call, he called Matilda."Hello Mrs Davis," Bryce said. "I am at the hospital, I just got my wife out of prison. Your daughter is missing. I suspect Devon has her. I have already tasked Martin to look for her.

"I know someone who can make Eva speak. I will get the person," Bryce said and pulled out his phone. "Hello Bernard," he said as soon as the call was answered. At the central police station, the chief left his office to see Eva in her withholding cell. Even though Eva was in prison, she was well taken care of. She was kept in a separate place and was well provided for."I just got off the phone with the warden of the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility. You will be well taken care of till Susan figures out a way to get you out," he said."Okay," Eva replied."Good," the chief said. "The court proceeding will be very short since you have admitted committing the crime. Once that is done, you will be safely transported to Bedford Hills Correctional Facility and Susan will pick things up from there," he added."When is the court hearing?" Eva asked biting into her sandwich and sipping her tea."Tomorrow," the chief replied. "Hope the food is good," he inquired."Yes, it's okay. I am in pri
