No one spoke after we finished eating. James and Sarah packed up and left and Liam and I were both too tired to talk it out, so he took me back to the hotel. The next morning I awoke to a light knock on my door. I opened the door to Liam carrying two coffees and a box of donuts. My hair was crazy and I was only in my nightgown. Today, Liam was wearing a set of glasses, a regular t-shirt with a band name on it, and khaki shorts. "Morning." He moved past me into my room and I shut the door and rubbed my eyes."Good morning," I grumbled back and moved back to my bed. I climbed back in and laid down. "Sit up. Coffee. I didn't know how you like it, so I have creamer and sugar in here too." I sat up like he asked and took my coffee from him. I wasn't a big fan of it, but I wouldn't tell him that. He was nice and brought it.I sugared mine up and tossed a sh*t ton of creamer in it and sipped on it and watched him."

After the aquarium, I went back to the hotel and stayed for the rest of the evening. Even when Liam laid on my bed and practically begged me to come, I refused. I had enough of James and Sarah until the wedding, so after he left, I changed into comfy clothes, ordered some food for dinner, and laid in bed and watched movies.I also cyberstalked Liam. I couldn't help myself. After that small kiss, I couldn't stop myself from doing that. Neither of us had commented on it after we gave each other our gifts and I had to admit, I was a bit bummed about it.I wanted to know what it meant to him. I mean, I know he did it for the pictures, but thinking about it now made my heart flutter and the butterflies in my stomach rustle. So I ate some pizza and scrolled through pictures of Liam on his social media pages.I didn't know what to make of him. He was sweet. And I honestly had not seen him even grab his phone for work at all since I'd been here. Just to a

The music starts playing and everyone settles down. I take a deep breath and watch as the doors open up right next to me. James walks in with his mom and dad and his eyes find me right away. He looks away immediately and walks up to the front where the priest is waiting. Then the wedding party comes in pairs. Justice walks down wearing a pale pink satin dress holding Liam's arm. He has a pale pink vest cummerbund and tie. When he sees me, he winks and walks up to the front. Instead of going to James side, he goes to where Sarah is going to be and Justice stands behind her brother.Jordan walks out with some random girl. He spots me immediately and his face turns pink and he gives me a tight smile. Maybe being in the back was a bad idea. Everyone can see me here.More people made their way down the aisle, but I kept my face forward. I had two sets of eyes on me from the front and I felt my face burn. Liam was watching me with a small smile and Jam

"Are you sure?"I smiled at Liam and nodded, still feeling my eyes sting with tears and my throat ache."Yup.""You...you said you don't drink. Is it...are you an alcoholic?"I laughed at his concern and shook my head. "No. My mom was. I just have a fear of becoming her. One drink won't hurt." I looked up at his worried olive eyes and he nodded."Alright. Let's go."He turned us around from my table and led us to the bar. It was small and manned by two people who seemed swamped. But two shots wouldn't hurt them."What do you like?" He asked as he stepped up to the bar. I shrugged and looked at the options."Whiskey. It's what my mom always had.""Okay."He ordered us a couple of shots and handed me one. I looked down at the amber liquid and closed my eyes. I downed it all in one go and grimaced at the taste. "Ugh." The warmth of the alcohol traveled down to my empty stomach. Liam watc

At my hotel room, I quickly went to the closet and looked through it. I grabbed a plain white crop top tee a pair of high-waisted, distressed jeans that tapered at my ankles, and a pair of white sneakers. I grabbed a thong from a drawer stripped off Liam's shirt and threw it on the bed. He inhaled deeply, his eyes trained on me as I dressed and I pressed my lips together to hide my smile. Once I was dressed, I walked into the bathroom when I had my makeup scattered over the counter. I chose red lipstick again and just a layer of mascara. Nothing too dramatic. I grabbed my purse sitting next to him since he brought it in and made sure my wallet was inside before I smiled at him. "Okay, I'm ready." Liam was still watching me with a strange look and he shook his head. "You could wear a burlap sack and still look f*cking delicious. James is the king of id*ots for letting you go." "Did my p*ssy brainwash you?" I a
