André's POV The battle was bloody and ferocious. That snake, Jonas, had my pack surrounded long before I got to the battlefield. I have tried to reason with him, but he was hell-bent on choosing violence and throwing the life of his men away all because of a woman that he would never have. The war broke out and there was bloodshed everywhere. A wolf charged at me and in mere seconds, I shifted into my black wolf and smacked him hard with my paw. He yelped in pain, and I grabbed him in my jaws and flung him across the grass, spilling his blood into the soil. I searched among the fighting wolves for that snake, but I couldn't find him anywhere. His men were focused on killing me, and they swarmed me like bees, but I defeated them in seconds. I felt a pair of claws sinking into my right flank, and I howled in pain. Ragnar became enraged, and in a split second, I faced my assailant and growled mercilessly at him.I clawed his face and gouged out his eye.The socket was left empty, an

André's POV I watched in shock and awe as Doran spilled his guts.“I am the Heir of the Lycian Empire of the Sacred Moon. I was cast out and denied my birthright because of my wolf. I looked nothing like a Lycan. I looked like a regular wolf shifter. I was mocked and scorned…”I was stunned. Doran was a Lycan. A Lycan Prince?"...I was adopted and raised in André's pack. They knew of my heritage and made sure that I never forgot my roots. I befriended André, and by growing up together, I became his Beta. After my adoptive parents passed away, I realized that it was time I took my place as Prince of the Empire…”“…I thought that I would start small. I felt that once André was too tired to rule since he was without an heir, he would pass the Pack leadership over to me. But then, Olivia came into the picture.”I saw him grit his teeth in anger. Even under control, he was still in control of his emotions.“I hoped that I would be able to get rid of her. I sent her those notes but André f

Olivia's POV “Olivia! Olivia! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!...”"Shut up! She isn't the one talking to you!” André snapped.I stepped back. It was terrifying seeing Jonas begging me in this state. He was more than a shadow of his old self.“Olivia!" “Silence you bastard!" Pierre yelled. His finger nails sunk into his skin and I could see blood seeping from beneath.“Don't hurt him!" Alvida demanded. “He has lost enough blood and he is weak." Pierre eased up the pressure and I could seeing blood bruises were his fingers were.“I am giving you one more chance to answer my question. Tell us about, Doran.”Jonas’ eyes met mine. My lips couldn't move but my eyes said everything."Just tell them what they need to know,” they said.He looked away from me and took a deep breath. I could only imagine the kind of pain that he was in."Doran? Is…is that his name?" “What the fuck do you mean ‘is that his name’?!”André's fury was terrifying. The way is voice boomed and his eyes glowed cast a scary sh

Doran’s POVI could feel my airways constricting. I felt a warm liquid run down my face. I wiped it with the back of my hand while I held on tight to the coat of the wolf that was carrying me. Blood. More blood…“Fuck!”I coughed and more blood poured out of me, soiling the coat of my wolf.“Run…Faster!”I gasped. I could feel my death creeping closer. I might not make it. My grip weakened and I tumbled off the wolf and rolled to the ground, my knees, elbows and shins, being bruised as I barely rolled over sharp sticks and stones.“Master!”My man had shifted back in to his human form and was kneeling at my side. I could barely get on my feet. I raised my head and saw my hideout in the distance.“Antidote…cough cough! More blood …in there.”“W…what does the bottle look like?”“Gr…”I could no longer breathe. My vision started to darken ands before i was swept off by the dark void, i saw my man run into the building. I collapsed on the ground. I could feel my airways shut. I knew i had

André’s POV“I need extra security around the camp perimeter. We have to be prepared for anything. I realize that Pierre isn’t back yet so i need you to take a headcount of the number of injured that we have. We need to know our strength just in case we need to ride out soon.”“Yes, Sir. Anything else?”I gave the guard a few more instructions and he took them down. I craned my neck and looked around. I saw a few men that Pierre had taken with him on his mission. I guess they were back and I was expecting a report soon.“Sir, we found a few survivors from Jonas’ men. They are really injured. We aren’t sure how much longer they will stay alive.”As we talked, some men walked up to us dragging two bodies with them. They were covered in blood and their breathing was weak. They looked like they didn’t have long to live. I could get the report from Pierre later; I had to take them to Alvida.“Follow me.”The men trudged behind me as we walked through the crowds. I could see the intense gla
