“let’s talk about the mess.”Daisy’s POVThis is stupid.I can’t believe I had taken this route. There was an imaginary Priya on my shoulders screaming and cheering me on.I tried different poses hoping to find the one that didn’t look like I was constipated.Hades would be here pretty soon and I wasn’t even looking like someone who had the intent of seduction. An idea popped into my mind, I had been so focused on trying to do the impossible, when I could just as easily do it on my own terms. The door clicked shut and I knew that Hades had arrived. His loud steps echoed through the room filling my body with anxiety.“daisy?”I could hear the question in his voice as he searched further for me.“in here,” I shouted back, hoping he didn’t hear the slight tremor in my voice.“Why is the door locked?” he asked jiggling the good door handle.“Nothing, I’ll be done in a minute,” I called back, my hands shaking as I pushed a stubborn hair strand down.“there’s a chair in the middle of the r

“This is fun, but my eyes are burning red.”Daisy’s POVI made a mistake. The way Priya and Brittany were rolling on the floor reminded me of how much of a wrong idea it has been to tell them of what had happened between Hades and I.“Let me get this straight, he got the sex and still pulled a trick on you,” Priya repeated, cracking up like she hadn’t been laughing for the past twenty minutes.Brittany had tears rolling down her cheeks from how loud she had been laughing.“I took your advice,” I whined, looking frustrated at how loud they were laughing.Eyes turned to us each time people walked by, confusion written on their faces as they noticed my two jack asses I called friends rolling on the floor in laughter.“Yes, but I remember saying, set your terms clear, have the man eating from the palm of your hand,” Priya chuckled again.I rolled my eyes, stomping my feet in anger and turned away from them. It was of no use coming to them for advice when all they did was laugh at me.“wai

“My lust has become an agony.”Daisy’s POV“You shouldn’t be here”I rolled my eyes at his rudeness. I get his need to be aloof but he shouldn’t be that hard on me.“On what grounds?” I questioned.Xavier ignored me, walking into the shed to drop the tools he had been using.“Xavy?” I muttered.“Look Daisy, I’m happy that you are okay, but you shouldn’t really be here,” Xavier uttered. My heart dropped, I wasn’t about to lose him, “I heard your attempts in trying to see me,” I said.Xavier paused, “I happy you still care about me,” I muttered.Xavier let out a soft chuckle, “what? You thought we would stop being friends because of your relationship?” he asked.“do you really think that low of me?” he asked, with a surprised look on his face.“no, I mean after the way we left off things, I was just surprised, that’s all,” I uttered.“No, pretty, I can handle a little rejection,” Xavier said with a large grin on his face.“So why did you stop coming?” I asked.“Never did, just knew how

“caught up in your web, again.”Daisy’s POV“You only have to say it, and I will drown your body in so much pleasure,”I jerked out of bed, my heart beating loudly in my chest. I pulled the sheet off my body, allowing the cold morning breeze to touch my skin.I turned slightly looking at the empty spot beside me. It had happened again, the same dream, Hades kissing and begging me to succumb.“Morning,” Hades called, walking into the room, his body glittering with water from the shower.I bit my lips, looking at his body with hunger in my eyes, I could feel my core throbbing as he flexed his muscles, using the small towel to dry off his hair.I used his distracted state to my advantage, checking out his body as he moved.“daisy,” Hades called, with a smirk on his face as he moved closer to the bed I was sitting on.I blushed, my cheeks burning bright red in shame, Hades had caught me red-handed, daydreaming about him body.“enjoying the view, princess?” he teased, brushing his lips slo

“the longing to disappear. I couldn’t feel.”Daisy’s POV“Hey,” Hades’ baritone voice resonated around my body.I hummed, moving closer to his body. And I felt Hades tense under my touch. I knew he could feel my mental turmoil, the mate bond made it possible for him to feel my emotions to a certain level.“I can’t keep Brittany and Priya away for so long,” he whispered, his fingers playing with a strand of my hair. After my break down at the stables, I had locked myself away in my room, using Hades and my blanket as my cocoon away from everything.Hades’ eyes swirled with worry as he observed my face, I could see the urge to question me dancing in his eyes.“baby?,” he whispered, my body vibrating at the word. Even through my drama with Astrid, my body was still super aware of Hades, I had imagined how good it would feel to throw caution to the wind and let him have me, but I knew I would only be doing that to distract me from whatever it was that I was dealing with. And I couldn’t us
