EDEN.“It's already been six years since I slept on the bed. I wonder where this soft bed came from.” I yawned, stretching my limbs. My eyelids were heavy, but I slowly opened them to face the ceiling. “This isn't my room. Kiah won't let me sleep in a spacious room like this.” I thought, rolling my eyes.Since my parents passed away, I began staying in a hut–like a room away from the main building. I sleep on a mat, and I come into the main building to serve her. Her leftovers after feeding are my meals, but one thing she doesn't know is that I prepare the meal in a big quantity and then hide the remaining after serving her.I would say that it's the reason I became overweight is because I ate with greediness due to the fact Kiah wants me to starve. I fed secretly in a way that if feeding was the only benefit I would get from my family….then so be it. I accepted that I was an orphan because our parents were searching for me…but I didn't plot the accident, and the main culprit here sho

EDEN.Standing beside the mat, I stared at the school materials that were brought to me two days ago. It's been three weeks since I graduated from high school, and today was my first day in college. I feel so ashamed despite how I longed to be in college. Each time I recall that I would be bullied there, I tend to change my mind.I won't! The anonymous person who wouldn't even let the Alpha King sort him out did enough, so I won't let the risk he or she took be in vain. I picked up my clothes and had them on. “It's my size. How did the person know the type of clothes I prefer to put on?” I giggled.Ready to leave, I stepped out of my room to see a cab waiting at the compound. The whole place was quiet, which meant that Kiah had left for school already. I walked close to the cab and peeped, a driver was seated in it.I waved my hand. “Hi!” the door glass went down. “Who are you here for? Kiah already left….”“It's you! I was paid to always pick you up before and after school.”I chuckl

EDEN.A resounding slap landed on my face, taking me to the floor. I spit a mouth full of blood. It's been hours since I was brought here based on my imagination, and I've been beaten mercilessly without being told of my offence.A palm dragged me to the side and pressed me against the tree. They had tied my eyes, so I couldn't see…..and my limbs, so I wouldn't move on my own. I spitted out again, unknowingly to me, it touched one of them….followed by a heavy hit that made me almost lose my senses at that moment.“This bitch spit this f*cking blood on me….” he yelled, fizzing with energy. I could tell that he would hit me again when a feminine voice made him halt his actions. “Didn't you just see what she did to me?”“I said, enough! You can't kill her!!” came the feminine voice.Who was that? Was she here to save me? I shook my head. No one would come near them without knowing who they are. They must be buddies but are uncomfortable with the way they hit me repeatedly.“Untie the sca

TYRION.I rode my car into our compound and parked at the garage. My arms rested on the steering wheel while my head leaned on it. At least, Eden was fine, and it's a relief too that she didn't get to see me.No matter how much she detested me, hiding in a shadow while protecting her would be the best thing to do. I wouldn't want her to know that I've been the one doing all this, or she might reject it all. I have to see that she achieves her aim and lives her life without regrets—then I will also get rid of the guilt in me.I felt a liquid on the side of my lip and touched it with my finger. “Her blood!” I smiled and wiped it off. “She is my mate…..” That was the interesting part, but will I handle it? Can I control the mate bond so it won't be exposed that we are mates? If it gets out that we are mates, my parents will force me to reject her—and I don't wish to.I pulled out the car key and alighted from the car. Until I gather enough might to oppose my parents and point my finger i

TYRION.I sat before Kisey at the cafeteria. We had ordered a meal which will soon be served to us. Envisioning how Eden was molested and bullied by her sister just a few minutes ago still haunted me.If only I could help her and things wouldn't get out of my control—I wouldn't hesitate to bring an end to all these. The moment I step out to stand by her now, both of us will suffer it and that's not what I wish. The sound of the plates served on the table before me pulled me out of my thoughts. I raised my head to look at the waitress. “Did you send it over?” I asked him and he nodded. “Don't forget our code….”He grinned and left, then I picked up the chopping stick.“Are you sure he didn't find you in the restroom?” Kisey inquired. He had seen me hurry out of there when I noticed that Eden was searching for me with my scent. “She knows that whoever it is that saved her from the woods is her mate, and she must find him.”I licked my lips, nothing was interesting in this world when you
