He is actually being naughty again. Who knew he was always like this, just hiding it from me? Liam picked out the foods we would be eating and she made sure to add fried chicken to it. The sales girl served our meal and we ate silently but then, a girl walked towards our table holding a phone in her hand. “Sir. Are you an artist or something?” the girl asked. I looked around to see that there were people around watching us. Also, the girl came with her group of friends. She has blonde hair, wearing high heels and a skimpy dress that reveals her breasts. That is not even the issue here, she is looking at Liam as if she just sees her favourite meal. “He is not an artist," I replied and she scoffed, looking at me with wide eyes as if she wasn't expecting me to be the one to reply. “Excuse me, Ma’am.” He said and looked at Liam instead. What? Ma’am? Okay, we shall see. “One of my friends actually likes you and she is trying to get your contact information,” the girl said and the

EMILY'S POVBack In Los AngelesLiam went to the company to take care of some paperwork while I decided to stay at home with Xavier. I couldn't stop thinking about how the vacation felt and the new feelings of emotion I experienced. My body is still sore after the series of lovemaking Liam and I did. He seems to have become more energetic and he doesn't seem tired.I took a cup of coffee and sipped it slowly, going through my readers' comments on my comic book. They all treated me well, to be precise but I don't really know what to say to some of their comments. Some demanded to see my face and some wished they could actually go inside one of my comic books as a character but that is not happening anytime soon.My phone rang and I checked who the caller was. Vincent's name flashed across the scene and I swallowed hard. Placing the tablet on the glass table, I picked up the call and pressed the phone to my ear. Xavier is already feeling sleepy and I don't wish to disturb him.“Hi Vee,”

EMILY'S POV “What makes you think this is a dream, Emily? This is where you have always belonged and you can still remember the scene. It shouldn’t be all in your head alone. We were here in the past, you, me, and little Xavier.” Vincent said and I couldn’t help but bite the inside of my cheeks. Is he going crazy or what?I can’t decipher the meaning of what is going on right now.“Vincent, we can talk about whatever it is but you need to untie me first. I am not your fucking prisoner.” I said and he chuckled, standing up.“For fuck sake. Shut up!” Vincent yelled and slammed his fist against the wall.My eyes widened in shock because this was the first time he had ever yelled in front of me.“Just try to listen to me, huh, and stop acting like a dick for once, Emily. Why the fuck did you go after Liam after what he did huh?” Vincent’ demanded from me. His voice was harsh, and it almost scared the shit out of me, but I knew I had to fight back if I wanted to return to Xavier.“He didn

(EMILY’S POV)My eyes opened again and this time, I felt even weaker. I looked up and tried to stand up again but it was so hard that I couldn’t even move a finger. The door opened and I pretended to be asleep. I felt the hard echoing of shoes on the floor but I remained frozen without moving my body.He began to whistle with every step he took towards me and it scared the shit out of me. I don’t even know if this is Vincent right now. The whistle was getting closer and it seemed he was already beside me.“Are you still sleeping? I thought you would be awake by now.” I heard a voice say towards the shell of my ear and goosebumps dotted my skin in fright. I am damn sure that I have heard this voice somewhere but I don’t know where.“Or are you pretending to be asleep?” He asked and I swallowed hard. Did he already know I am not sleeping? And who is he? How did he get in here?“Let me check if you are pretending then.” He said and his hand brushed the inside of my thighs.“No!” I scream

(EMILY'S POV)“Did you really think this was the best way to handle this, Vincent? Just tell me what is wrong and I will try to reason with you. You aren't like this.” I said with my small voice, already feeling thirsty but what I needed right now was not water.Vincent crossed his arms and stood in front of me. “So you think I am doing all this because of my own selfish reasons? I know what to say, Emily but for now, you must do as I say, baby.” He said and continued.“Sign the papers and your dream wedding dress will be available tomorrow. We will get wedded here and things will be different between us.” Vincent said but he wasn't even done talking. He brushed the side of my hair falling to my face right at the back of my ear and kissed my cheeks. “We don't need Xavier for now but trust me, no one will dare trample on you. So sign it because I don't wish to force you.” Vincent added and that was when I realised that he wasn't going to listen. The worst he can do is force me to sign
