Serra found herself feeling out of place. The kids in the school are all looking at her strangely. Because neither her clothes nor her appearance look appealing. Her clothes are old and washed one too many times. Her hair is pulled out into a bun. Her glasses kept slipping past her nose constantly. "Oh my gosh, who is she? Doesn't she look like a scarecrow?" one of the kids commented, not even bothering to keep their voices down. Serra was never pretty. She always preferred to stay alone, because she was constantly bullied even in high school. Now, surrounded by so many people who are all strangers, and look like models, she started to feel intimidated and scared. "She is so ugly" "Oh my, was she thinking that it's Halloween and dressed up as a witch?" "She will give nightmares if we look at her at night" As their comments became bolder and cruel, Serra rushed away from there and hid herself in one of the ladies washrooms. She pulled her glasses away and wiped at her tea
