บททั้งหมดของ CHASING MY EX-CONTRACT WIFE: บทที่ 91 - บทที่ 100

BRENT’S POVI drove to the house as fast as I could so I'd be able to get back to my family as fast as possible. When I caught Pamela lurking in my house the last time, I was pretty much surprised to find her there. I'd never expected that the intruder would be a lady, talk more of a lady with excess plastic surgery. The bullet didn't lodge in her body but only caused a grazing over her skin. She begged that I let her go and when I asked why she was in my house in the first place, she couldn't come up with a cogent reason so I had her locked away in my basement which doubled as a torture room. All my houses both in and outside the country have a basement like that and Claire's boyfriend was trapped in one of those. When I got to the house, it was empty like I'd expected and got a minute, I imagined what it would be like if my complete family was here. The laughter of my kids, the giggles from my wife, the sound of pots scraping in the kitchen, the loud noise of the Television. It

PRISCILLA’S POV“You're recovering really fast, ma’am. I guess the kids got the good genes from you.” The doctor said, smiling as she looked over my chart. I no longer had the oxygen and others connected to me. According to the doctors, my progress was quite surprising. Brent got the kids and me a VIP room so we won't have to be uncomfortable when sharing the space with others and I couldn't have been more grateful for it. “You should be discharged today, if you'd like to but if not, you can let us know when you're ready to leave and we'll get you the papers.” She added and I could feel my cheeks hurting from how hard I was smiling. There surely were advantages to being a wealthy person, the treatment just hits different. The kids had fallen asleep not quite long before their father left and they were still fast asleep so I just glanced at them and back at the doctor. “Can we go home together today?” I asked but the doctor nodded negatively. “No, I mean you can go home with Aid

SYLVESTER’S POV“You'll kill yourself at this rate if you keep on gulping down the entire bottle.” I heard mum's voice behind me and almost jumped from my seat. My eyes widened when I saw her in the living room, staring at me as though it was normal for an old woman to be awake in the middle of the night. I was frightened but I managed to hide it so she wouldn't prey on my fear. “Mum, what are you doing awake?” I asked as though I hadn't almost lost my mind a few minutes ago. She stared at me with some sort of scorn in her eyes until she almost walked out of my view. She ignored my question and picked up a bottle of whiskey and poured it into a glass for herself. I saw her raise the glass to her mouth and my brain clicked immediately. “Mum, stop, you shouldn't be taking that. No, I can't let you do that.” I countered, forcing her to finally pay some attention to me. “Even your father cannot stop me from drinking, what do you think you can do?” Mum has always been frightening, not

PRISCILLA’S POVI wanted to insist on having Brent drive home with us first before going into the office but I couldn't bring myself to say the words. I didn't want to stop him from doing his job while being a family man so as he left the car, I took a deep gulp, bracing myself ahead for whatever it was I'd encounter at his home. “Mummy, when is daddy coming back?” Aiden asked with an innocent smile. “Soon, honey, your dad should be back soon, he just has to attend to something at work.” I responded. The rest of the drive was filled with laughter from the kids while I remained silent and drowned in my thoughts. When we got to the house, I could see the surprise in the faces of the staff. They all stared at us as though we were the newest discovery in the world. “Mum, why are they looking at us?” Avery signed and I smiled. “They're just surprised to see you both.” I answered, wishing they'd all return to doing their jobs and not gawk at my kids. “Oh, I think that's because we've

PAMELA’S POV“Meet Evelyn. She's one of my informers in Brent's company. She's his assistant. You must be familiar with her.” Jack said as I stood opposite the brunette. Her eyes looked deadly but beyond that, I was surprised that she managed to keep her identity under cover while working with Brent. She looked too dangerous to even work with Jack. She didn't say a word but instead stared at Jack as though she was a military personnel waiting for orders. “I have a question.” I finally spoke up, being unable to hold it in. Jack glanced at me with a scornful look on his face but I couldn't care less. “How did you get to work for Brent? You don't look like someone that'll be an ich close to him.” I said and she scoffed without looking at me. “You seem to always forget your place here, Pamela. You both work for me, you're not friends. You have no right to ask anyone questions except me and I can choose to respond to you or not. This is your second strike, I won't warn you about the t
