Myron's POV I had an eerie feeling when Natalia did not return after an hour. Despite my effort to stop the suspicious thoughts in my head, they still found a way to get in. They eventually led me into my closet and out of the house, on the way to the Davis' Industry. Since the boys are now with Scott, it was right for me to think that Natalia might be obliged to walk into Scott's nest with the boys as her excuse. And I would not let that happen, not when I have come this far. It also surprised me that Natalia has begun to suspect Samantha's birth. Of course I knew Sam isn't Michelle's daughter however she is Natalia's 'unborn child' that she thinks is dead. I was the mastermind behind it all. I had ordered my father not to harm the child so we could use it to blackmail Scott. My plan worked perfectly as Natalia never suspected Scott was being threatened into fighting against her. Everything I have done until now is only to hurt my father and the Davis family for the cruel to

Annabel's POVThey had just seen me come out of the car. I registered the shock on the face of Michelle and the fury on Myron's face.I quickly pushed the kids into the car as I didn't want them to witness the volcano waiting to erupt.Myron and Michelle began to walk towards us. I met them at a distance, stopping them from getting anywhere near the car.Myron grabbed my arm in a fit of rage."Don't you dare hurt her!" Scott's deep voice warned as he came between us breaking Myron's grip on my arm."You bastard!" Myron swore just before he placed a blow on Scott's face. Scott staggered, regained his balance and returned the blow. The men engaged in fisticuffs despite I and Michelle's effort to stop them.By the time the guards from the company arrived to hold them off, both men had been badly injured.Myron looked even more furious as he glared daggers at Scott. As I stood behind him, I couldn't help but blame myself for the present event. I shouldn't have gone with Scott and the kids

Annabel's POV "Strip, Natalia." "No," I whispered, tears streaming down my face, "Stop this nonsense, Myron." "No! I won't!" his voice got even louder as he glared widely at me, "I won't stop! Why should I be the one to do that, huh? Did I not warn you never to be seen near that man again? What did you do? You dismissed my warnings! You took me for a fool!" "Please.." I trembled, "Please Myron..I told you.." I sobbed, "I went with him because of the kids." "I don't care! What I care about is that you prove to me that you're truly over Scott. I want you to prove to me that you are really my wife." I shook my head, stepping back and saying "I don't want to." He chuckled as he flung his trousers away, leaving only his briefs, "Why not, Natalia? Have I not given you enough time? Tell me why I'm so different from Scott?" "This..this is not about him.." I explained, "I don't want to be involved with any man anymore." "But you just spent the day in the arms of your Ex," he

Michelle's POVI was still in disbelief over what I saw yesterday. Yes, Scott might be crazy thinking Natalia is Annabel but I did not expect that Natalia would take advantage of that and etch close to my husband. The look I saw in her eyes was undeniable. When the car had rolled into the garage and she and Scott stepped out to say goodbye to the kids, they had no idea that I and Myron were watching from a distance.Scott and Natalia kept sharing a familiar glance and despite Natalia's smiling face at the kids, there was an obvious sadness about her that one could not miss.It shocked me.From a distance Natalia is completely a different person and it had me thinking if..if Scott has been right all the time. Even now, I shuddered at the thought as I tried to convince myself that Natalia cannot be Annabel."Mich!"I trembled as I jerked out of thoughts and realized that everyone was staring at me at the breakfast table."I'm sorry," I shook my head and blinked twice, "Did..Did you say

Michelle's POV"Fine,' I resigned, "Let's have a DNA test done on the boys."Her eyes widened upon hearing my words, "What?" she exclaimed but I remained determined on this decision."Since we all have different opinions, the DNA test will prove one of us wrong.""But how would we carry out the test?" she demanded, "The boys would be leaving today.""It's not so difficult, Aunt," I told her, "My father owns a hospital and although I did not major in the medical field I know a thing or two about these things.""When the boys get back from school, I'll have strands of their hair each and deliver it to the hospital for the test. I'll need a strand from Scott as well."Vivian did not look pleased with the idea as she stared at me, unsure of the entire plan. It didn't matter though, either way, I was bent on satisfying this daunting question in my head else I would never stop seeing that lovely eyes of Natalia on Scott......Annabel's POVAfter the tantrum with Myron the day before, I did

Annabel's POVI had chosen a turtlenecked sleeve on pants to meet with Scott and pick up the kids. I didn't want him to see the bruises and create another scandal. After what Miss Donna told me, I would have to tread carefully as from now on. I already suspected that Myron must have temper issues even before she let the cat out of the bag.Scott had chosen a remote location where there were no passerbys and barely any chances of being seen. I had come earlier than expected and I forced myself to believe that it was only because I was eager to see my boys again however, the feeling gnawed inside me.The feeling of wanting to see Scott again and share the close, loving time we had spent at the beach. Even now as I leaned against my car, waiting patiently I couldn't help but replay the beach episode. I found myself smiling time to time despite my sad and realistic situation. I hugged my arms as the snow drifted lightly around me. Instead of cold, I felt the touch of Scott- warm, sensat

Scott's POV"Liam!!"Annabel's piercing scream filled my ears and interrupted my call. Sensing danger, I turned abruptly, in time to find Liam running to me with his outstretched arms and smiling face, but too late to realize the speeding car racing towards us.My eyes widened as my phone dropped to the ground and ran towards him, hoping to get to him before the car."Liam!" his name erupted from my lips just when the car ran him over and brushed past me, sending me with a thud to the ground. For a moment, I could not process anything as I had hit the back of my head hard against the tarred road. "Oh my God! Scott..Scott.." Michelle was next to me, "Are you..are you okay?"I could hear her clearly but I struggled to make sense of my surroundings as she helped me sit up."You're bleeding!" Michelle gasped and began to fumble for her phone, "Hold on...please keep your eyes open! I'll call 911!"My eyes unconsciously darted a few meters behind Michelle and that was when everything came

Annabel's POV"I'm sorry, Mrs Wilson but your blood type is not a complete match to your son's."I rose to my wobbly feet in a start, not failing to see the shocked look on everyone's faces."D-Doctor," I began, "You..you must be mistaken. I am his mother. I gave birth to him, I-""I understand how you feel right now, Mrs Wilson but it's your son's life here. He needs blood immediately and yours is not a complete match." the Doctor explained."B-but how is that possible?" Michelle exclaimed, as shocked as I was, "She is his mother. Who else would have a better match?""Mrs Davis, things like this are possible medically." the Doctor explained, "She could be his mother but their blood group can differ. It does not mean she is not his mother."He paused and added, "There is nothing to worry about. In cases like this, the father of the child holds the complete match so it's a good thing Mr Wilson is here."I shivered. There is no way on earth Myron's blood would match Liam's. Moreover, I

Annabel's POV"Where were you the entire day?" I asked. The abruptness of my question must have shocked him because his surprised expression showed that he was not expecting that question."At the company," he answered, looking away and adding under his breath, "Where else would I have been?""Your absence was unusual, Myron and even now, your calmness baffles me."He sighed, "I am deeply worried about Liam, Natalia. I thought prioritizing his wellbeing and then finding the criminal later would be the right thing to do. I'm sorry if I do not meet your expectations."All this while, he kept avoiding my gaze and his answer was not the least satisfying. Or perhaps I'm overthinking things. Myron would never plan an accident on Liam. Even though he is not his biological son, Myron cherishes my boys.Except the accident was not meant for Liam.I turned my gaze and stared at him again, my mind taking me back to the scene of the accident. For one thing, the accident was definitely planned.

Annabel's POVI glared at him, "You attempted murder, Myron!""I didn't do anything," he denied, "How could you accuse me of such, Natalia?""I know you, Myron," I answered, "I know what you're capable of. Out of jealousy, you tried to murder Scott.""Natalia, that was an accident for god's sake! Contrary to what you think, it could not have been planned. It could have happened unexpectedly. Perhaps the driver was distracted or something-""No, Myron." I whispered underneath my breath, "That was no accident. I saw it. There's no way in hell that the driver of that car knew that Liam would bolt unto the road suddenly. His target was Scott, and Liam got in the way. Not to mention the fact that there was no one else on that road except I and Scott and Michelle."Silence hung in the air as Myron stared at me with an expressionless face. "You're worked up, Natalia," he spoke calmly, "You need to rest."I shook my head pitifully at him."It better not be true, Myron," I told him, "I will h
